Churches Falling into Apostasy

Why are more and more churches falling away from God and into apostasy?

For one thing, it was prophesied that in the end times, we would see just that.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” II Timothy 4:3-4

Churches fall into apostasy when they elevate their view of man and lower their view of God.

The fact that so many churches are falling away and embracing sin, ecumenicalism, and new age theology is just another sign that we are nearing the end of this world and the return of Christ.

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;” II Thessalonians 2:3

Those from these false churches will laugh at my saying this, just as Scripture prophesied. They deny the authority of Scripture, they deny the Scriptural account of creation and the flood.

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished.” II Peter 3:3-8

They deny their sin. They claim knowledge, but it is not of God.

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” II Timothy 3:1-5

God will still continue to draw lost sinners. But what are true Christians supposed to do? We can’t become apathetic when we know what fate awaits them in eternity.

But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.” II Timothy 4:5

Scriptures on the Loss of a Loved One

Losing a loved one is hard, even if that loved one is now in the presence of God in heaven. We miss them, and long to see them again. We accept their death, but mourn their absence.

God’s Word has the supernatural ability to comfort us when we need it. Here are some of the verses I found for those who may have just lost someone dear to them.

Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.” Psalms 116:15

"Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted." Matthew 5:4

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:” John 11:25

I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” Revelation 1:18

The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.” I Corinthians 15:26

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.” II Corinthians 5:1

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” I Corinthians 15:53

Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.” Ecclesiastes 12:7

But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah. Psalm 49:15

Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.” Luke 20:36

And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:40

Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.” John 8:51

But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:” II Timothy 1:10

He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces;…” Isaiah 25:8

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.” I Corinthians 15:54

I hope that if you are reading this because you were searching for comfort, that God’s Word has done just that for you. I leave you with this wonderful promise for the child of God:

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4

Obama should dispel the Rumors about His Citizenship

I don’t want Obama to be our next president, but I also don’t like rumors. If something about him is true (such as his support for homosexual marriage, his support for abortion on demand, and his ties to Black Liberation Theology) then I believe these things should be exposed and talked about.

After reading this article from the Israel Insider, it does seem that there is a question as to whether he is a natural born citizen of the United States. By refusing to answer why his online- posted Birth Certificate seems to be illegitimate, he helps fuel the rumors.

Obama should immediately prove his place of birth by allowing the State of Hawaii to release their records to the public.

I’m surprised that proving your place of birth is not a requirement of everyone who desires to be POTUS.

Obama Media Makeover Prediction

I predict that in the next 6 weeks we are going to see an "extreme makeover" of Obama in the media. Up until now, he has not come across as particularly strong, domineering, in-charge, or macho. I believe that's all about to change. Look for words like "in charge", "tough guy", "take no prisoners" and other macho sounding phrases. The liberal wussy image has to go. I wouldn't be the least bit suprised to see photo ops at rifle ranges, football fields, and maybe inside a military facility. As my son put it, he's got to get the moderate vote, and he'll have to be more macho to get it.

IMHO

I'm Normal and I'm Scary

In connection with my previous post, someone linked to it by saying "I’m not quite sure how I stumbled upon this, but there is some really scary stuff out there on the good ol’ web."

Scary stuff? This coming from a male homosexual whose Friendster profile says "Male, 29, Married Interested In: Dating Men, Relationship with Men, Friends."

And I'm the one who's scary.

Sad.

Who are the Real Haters? Part 2

I did not become a Christian till just 9 years ago. I've always been a conservative. I've always had what I call "family values", but there was a time in my life when I had no problem with homosexuality at all. When I was young, there were lesbians and gay people I knew, and I was friends with quite a few. I still run into a few of them in town occasionally, and it's always good to see them and I care about them and their well being. But they were different than gays I see today are.
They weren't radical. They weren't "in your face".

They all had a story to tell. Most of the girls had been sexually molested by Dad, brother, or Uncle. The guys for the most part had either absent fathers or extremely dominating mothers who doted on them. I don’t ever remember any of them saying that they thought they were “born that way” – they all gave their environment, their experiences as reasons for why they had chosen their lifestyle. They pretty much stayed to themselves, and didn’t push their lifestyle or flaunt it in front of those they knew would disapprove. Live and let live, so to speak.

I understood why the lesbians were the way they were. They hated men because the men in their lives had abused them. I could understand that. I tried to tell them sometimes that all guys weren’t like that, but they’d just roll their eyes and sneer at me.

I admit, I never quite understood why the guys were they way they were.

The reason I say all this is because so often Christians are called haters and intolerant. I've been called that myself.

Admittedly, I have seen some pretty strong language used against homosexuals in general and have seen a spirit of hate/spite/anger in others in their condemnation of this sin. I’ve felt those same emotions myself at times.

But that’s because things are different than they were.

In my life, having been saved from my own sins too numerous to list, I realize what a perversion of God’s natural order of things that homosexuality really is, and I know that if God says something is a sin, it is a sin. He’s God. I’m not. I also realize that homosexuality, like all other sin, is a stronghold and a burden – one that God can release anyone from. But because of the radical, in-your-face militant extremist nature of the homosexual political movement today, you can’t come near a gay or lesbian to discuss the possibility that maybe their lifestyle is not good, not good for them, and in fact detrimental to them physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Read this article and get back with me.

Christians have always seen homosexuality as a sin because God’s Word says it is. But we didn’t start becoming so vocal until the radical homosexual movement started pushing their agenda. And seeking to destroy Christianity.

They started it. Not the Christians. We don’t hate THEM. We hate their SIN. We hate their defiance toward God and His Word. We don’t hate THEM.

But they hate US.

Jesus Christ - the Alpha and Omega - God Himself

In Scripture, God frequently calls Himself “the first and the last”, and the “Alpha and Omega” (alpha and omega being the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet).

IN THE OLD TESTAMENT:

Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am He. Isaiah 41:4

Hearken unto Me, O Jacob and Israel, My called; I am He; I am the first, I also am the last. Isaiah 48:12

AND IN THE NEW TESTAMENT:

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Revelation 22:13

Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last:… Revelation 1:11

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Revelation 1:8

And He said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. Revelation 21:6

Is there any doubt that these verses in Revelation are referring to Jesus Christ? No. Jesus Christ is clearly God.

And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive; Revelation 2:8

Now let’s look in the Old Testament again at another passage.

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon Me Whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for Him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. Zechariah 12:10

This prophetic verse was written about 500 years before Christ, and clearly refers to His crucifixion.

If you look at this verse in the Hebrew, it is even more fascinating.

In the original Hebrew, in between the words me and whom are two untranslated letters – aleph and tau – the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet. So, this passage could actually be read

“…and they shall look upon Me [the Aleph and the Tau] Whom they have pierced

There is another place in the Old Testament where this occurs. It is in Genesis 1:1

In the beginning God, created the heaven and the earth.

In between the words God and created are the aleph and the tau. This same thing occurs seven times during the Genesis account of creation.

In the beginning, God [the aleph and the tau] created the heaven and the earth.

Which corresponds with John 1:1-3

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.

Jesus Christ. Our God. Creator of heaven and earth.

Our God is an awesome God.

George Carlin

I don't have any beliefs or allegiances. I don't believe in this country, I don't believe in religion, or a god, and I don't believe in all these man-made institutional ideas” George Carlin 1937-2008

Sadly, he believes now, but it’s too late.

God is longsuffering. He gave Carlin 71 years to give up his pride and change his mind. Carlin had everything,(fame, fortune, etc.) but never acknowledged Who gave it to him.

Disingenuousness

Main Entry: dis·in·gen·u·ous
Pronunciation: \ˌdis-in-ˈjen-yə-wəs, -yü-əs-\
Function: adjective
Date: 1655
: lacking in candor; also : giving a false appearance of simple frankness : calculating— dis·in·gen·u·ous·ly adverb
— dis·in·gen·u·ous·ness noun

One thing I have a lot of trouble with is disingenuousness.

What do I mean by that?

I can totally disagree with someone and still have respect for them. But being honest gains more respect from me than dishonesty.

I have more respect for the person who says “I don’t see anything wrong with abortion and think it should be perfectly legal in all circumstances” than I do for the person who says “I’m personally against abortion, but I believe every woman should have a right to choose.”

The first person has a stand, believes what they believe, and offers no apology.

The second person is disingenuous – they say that they are against abortion, but are they really? Do they really think it’s ok for a woman to choose to rip an unborn baby from its protective environment inside its mother and brutally burn it to death with a saline solution or puncture its skull? Don’t tell me you are personally against something like this and then be willing to stand by idly while others engage in this type of horrific murder of the innocent.

There is another area of disingenuousness in society today and it concerns homosexuality.

Political correctness has succeeded in bullying people into submission to the “homosexuality is normal” crowd.

There was a time not too many years ago when you could randomly survey just about anyone in this country and ask them if they thought homosexuality was normal and healthy – and their response would be “are you kidding? It’s perverted. Two men French kissing? Gross. Two women romantically involved? Sick. And what they do in the bedroom? No mental pictures please. And keep them away from my kids!

No one can deny this fact. Up until about 40 or 50 years ago, homosexuality was seen as and treated as a mental illness, a perversion, a sickness. It was a choice of lifestyle. Even homosexuals themselves overwhelmingly believed and admitted that they were not born homosexual, but chose that lifestyle – in most instances because they had an experience with an older member of the same sex who introduced them to that lifestyle.

Enter the radical homosexual activists. In just a few decades, they were able to bully the American Psychiatric Association into taking homosexuality off of their list of sexual deviations. They went to Hollywood and started producing movies that were “gay friendly” and sympathetic. They gained ground in the print media, and greater ground in the higher institutions of learning in this country.

They repeated their mantras over and over again.

Homosexuals are born that way.
Homosexuality is normal.
Homosexuals are no different than heterosexuals.
Homosexuals are family oriented.
Homosexuals are monogamous.

So it appears that people overall today at the very least tolerate the lifestyle, and at the most, condone and even glorify it. Those of us who know the truth, that it is still a perverse, abnormal lifestyle, have a choice to make. We can remain politically correct and stay silent, or we can say we personally believe it's a perversion, but since maybe they’re born that way, maybe they should have the same rights as heterosexuals. Shame on us who know the truth and are afraid to speak out.

It is normal to be repulsed by something that is abnormal and strange. How many men who claim they are open minded and don’t have a problem with other guys who are gay would still feel that way if some guy just suddenly walked up to them and gave them a big sloppy kiss right on the mouth?

How many women who say they are sympathetic toward homosexuality would be extremely offended if a woman came up to them and caressed them in a provocative and sexual way?

Now the most disingenuous of all- Christians who claim the Bible doesn’t speak against homosexuality.

The Bible says very clearly that homosexuality is a sin. Don’t even attempt to post here and say otherwise because you won't be published. Every argument against the statement has been disproved. Even atheists will tell you the Bible does teach that homosexuality is sin and an abomination to God. The early church fathers acknowledged that it was sin. The great men of God throughout the last 2000 years have acknowledged that it was a sin. It has only been in the last 40 or 50 years that (coinciding with the radical homosexual agenda) Christians have begun to question their own teachings (i.e.” The Word of God’s teachings) on the subject. And thus, the liberal Christian – the church that has given in to political correctness and has become “inclusive” and “affirming” is the greatest purveyor of disingenuousness over this abomination to God.

I have actually read Christians to say that they “prayed about it” and God showed them that homosexuality is no different from heterosexuality, and that anyone who condemns the practice is a bigot and hateful. But they won’t be pinned down. When asked what it was in God’s Word that jumped out at them and helped them realize that we’ve all been wrong for 2000 years, they never gave a clear answer. Instead, they go back to the tired old claims that the Bible doesn’t really say what it says.

What goes hand in hand with homosexuality? It’s fornication. When I asked a liberal Christian recently about fornication, I never received a straight answer. I asked, if you don’t believe that the Bible condemns homosexuality, do you believe it condemns fornication?

Silence.

Silence speaks in this situation. Silence says that yes, I know in my heart that homosexuality is condemned in Scripture. I know that homosexuals are predominantly promiscuous and that they are fornicators, but I won’t admit it.

Stop being disingenuous. Just say it. "I know homosexuality and fornication are condemned in the Bible, but I don’t care what the Bible says."

My respect for you will be greater than it is now.

Who are the Real Haters?

Who are the Real Haters?

Maulik Sadar and his wife Marala are missionaries in Orissa India. Both are natives there, and live in a small village where Maulik preaches the Gospel to all who will listen.

Recently there was an election to determine the new village leader. One man running was anti-Christian, and Maulik let others know he would not and could not vote for someone who was anti-Jesus. He was warned by many of the villagers that there would be severe consequences if he did not support their candidate.

While Maulik was away at a monthly meeting, and angry mob of hate filled people destroyed the home that he had built and scattered all of his belongings throughout the village. His wife and small children barely escaped to a sympathetic neighbor’s home before the mob demolished their home.

Instead of leaving the town in fear, Maulik and his family continue to live in the village, are rebuilding their home, and are continuing to reach out in the love of Christ to the lost in hopes of saving some.

Who are the real haters?

"And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved." Matthew 10:22

"Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake." Matthew 24:9

"If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you." John 15:18

And men still say this today about Jesus Christ:

"But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us." Luke 19:14

Are there No Good Samaritans Left?

I know people don’t like to get involved these days, but when I read something like this I really wonder about the collective state of mind of the people of this country today.

Excerpts are in italics.

A man parked his truck on a country road outside Turlock (outside of San Francisco) on a Saturday night, removed a baby boy from a car seat and then beat the child to death in the street, fighting off passers-by who tried to stop him, until he was gunned down by a police officer whose helicopter landed in a nearby pasture, police said Sunday.

First an elderly couple called in on their cellphone. I can possibly understand an elderly couple not wanting to get involved.

From what the article says, several people “tried” to do something about this man beating a child to death but were unsuccessfrul.

…others called as well, and some witnesses stopped and tried to halt the attack on the child.

What does “tried to halt” mean? “Mister, could you please quit beating that baby, you might hurt him.”

It actually mentions only one person physically getting involved.

One (person) tried to intervene, and the suspect pushed him off and continued assaulting the baby.

Pushed him off? Anybody ever heard of a tire tool? Surely somebody who stopped COULD have done something if they really wanted to.

I can only go by what this article says, and it sure seems to indicate that multiple people saw this crime happening, but basically no one really did the right thing. I can just about guarantee that if this had happened in Louisiana, the man would have been shot by somebody and possibly the child would have been saved.

Even without a weapon of any kind, the article indicates that multiple people stopped – what about just physically overpowering the man?

The Stanislaus County coroner's office told police that the agency may have to identify the boy through a DNA test because he was beaten beyond recognition.

Disturbing. Very disturbing.

About 120,000 people were sickened by salmonella in Mexico last year, according to Mexican health authorities _ three times the average 40,000 cases reported in the U.S., according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Fathers Day 2008

First of all, Dad, I know you read my blog sometimes. I just want to say thank you for being a dad who cares, who has been so generous through the years to his children, and for always being there with a joke to brighten things up for everyone or a mental challenge to be pondered and researched. Most of all, thank you for your leadership in our family as we we growing up - and for loving Mama and being the man of the house. In her final days here on earth, she frequently told me that you were her personal angel whom God sent to care for her in this life.

And to my husband, my best friend, my lover, and the Daddy to our children. Thank you, for your love, your spiritual leadership, your kindness, your discipline of our children, your unselfishness in always trying to put me first. I love you, respect you, and gladly submit to your spiritual authority because I know all the hours you have spent praying and begging God's guidance in your life.

To my sons. I know you've had some rocky times, but your love for your children is a blessing to behold. Thank you for being good daddies to your kids.

I know Father's day is for the guys, but I feel especially blessed on this day. I would not be able to make this post today if it were not for the generousity of my heavenly Father. Thank you, Lord, for all you've done for me, your child.

Christians Should Not be Afraid of Death

What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah.” Psalms 89:48

Everyone dies. Everyone has to face his or her mortality. However, as Christians, we are not to fear death. God has promised His children a resurrection. Our deaths are not really death at all, but a transition into eternal life with Him.

Some verses concerning death for a Christian , the resurrection, and eternal life promised to us:

Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. Luke 20:36

Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, Who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: II Timothy 1:9-10

But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for He shall receive me. Selah. Psalm 49:15

Knowing that He which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you. II Corinthians 4:14

And this is the will of Him that sent Me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:40

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. II Corinthians 5:8

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. I Thessalonians 4:13

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. I Corinthians 15:54

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: John 11:25

And whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die. Believest thou this? John 11:26

Do you believe this? If you don’t, please…email me and I’ll tell you how you can know for sure that you have eternal life.

More on Homosexual Activism?

I have posted a lot lately on issues concerning homosexuality. On the one hand, one might say “Move on, Ms Green. There are other issues pertaining to your Christian worldview besides this one.”

I wish I could move on. There’s just one problem. Daily, I wake up to some new report of homosexuals gaining ground in their goal to force acceptance of, or better yet, affirmation of, their perversion. Things are escalating so that I fully expect to be visiting my pastor in jail within the next few years because he dared to read a passage from the Bible condemning the sin of homosexuality during a sermon. Don’t think it will get to that point, do you?

I read this yesterday: Homosexuality takes congress by Storm

I’m not sure I agree with the title of this article. There are presently some 435 congressmen in the house of representatives. 52 is a little less than 9% of the total, which is not by any means “storming” Congress. However, this formation of a caucus for promoting sexual perversion rights is disturbing, especially in light of the recent occurrences in our nearby neighbor Canada concerning the stifling of individuals’ (Christians’) rights to voice their opposition to the gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender lifestyles.

In researching the two Republicans who crossed party lines to join in the new caucus, I discovered that Ros-Lehtinen is a "solidly conservative Republican", although she sides with liberal Democrats on one social issue: gay rights.

As for Christopher Shays, the Washington Blade(a homosexual newspaper)says, “Shays emerges as reliable backer of gay rights”.

Where is the church in all this? A look at the “spirituality” section of the Washington Blade answers this question for us.

A great many churches are in apostasy. They have become false harlot churches with the code words “affirming” and “inclusive” embedded in their false doctrines.

Here are a few churches advertising in the Washington Blades’ “spirituality” section:

WASHINGTON PLAZA BAPTIST CHURCH, a Christ-centered, welcoming and affirming community church in Reston, Va.

CITY OF REFUGE D.C., an affirming congregation for all God's people, meets at Amistad St. Paul United Church Of Christ,

INNER LIGHT MINISTRIES, African-American, all-affirming, Christ-centered church.

NATIONAL CITY CHRISTIAN CHURCH (Disciples of Christ). Open and affirming.

CHURCH OF THE EPIPHANY, a diverse and inclusive

MCC FREDERICKSBURG. A Christian church that celebrates gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning and affirming communities.

FIRST & ST. STEPHEN'S United Church of Christ, an open and affirming congregation

Numerous denominations are listed. Baptist, Catholic, Church of Christ, Episcopalian, Presbyterian. There are Jewish and Buddist listings there, along with Divination groups and Unitarians.

Code words: affirming and inclusive.
Meaning: We don’t teach that homosexuality and fornication are sin. We cater to “itching ears”.

I can’t move on. No Christian should. God help us if we don’t start becoming more vocal. Or should I say, if we don’t start becoming more vocal, God won’t help us.

"I just figured out "why so many folk are hatin' on Obama. He doesnt' fit the mold...He ain't white. He ain't rich. He ain't privileged." Jeremiah Wright

Wrong on all three counts. That makes you a liar.
Obama is half white.
His income in 2005 was 1.6 million dollars.
He's a US Senator.

On the same youtube video, Obama stated that if he could talk to Jesus he would ask him if he was going "up" or "down".

A true Christian doesn't have to ask that question. We know the answer, because it's a promise from God.

But then the UCC doesn't teach true Biblical Christianity.

Abnormal is Normal and Vice Versa

Imagine 50 years ago if someone had said that someday the mental patients will be in charge and they’ll tell you YOU are the one that’s got the problem. THEY are normal and YOU are not.

No one would have believed it. It would have sounded like a horror movie – a sci-fi movie, or a nightmare.

Looking at things from a logical perspective, the truth is, 50 years ago homosexuality was looked upon as a mental disorder, a perversion, a sickness, and even something repulsive to the majority of society.

Now it seems the mental patients are in charge.

A woman with a mental disorder decides she wants to be a man, but keeps her reproductive organs. She takes male hormones, grows a beard, surgically removes her breasts and pretends to be a man. She “marries” another woman. This other woman, also obviously suffering from a mental disorder,( because she wants to marry a woman who thinks she’s a man and who looks like a man, but has kept her reproductive organs) can’t have children. They’re in luck! The woman who thinks she is a man and who looks like a man is still a woman with her reproductive organs intact, so she decides to get pregnant by artificial insemination. So she will be the mother of the child, but she thinks she will be the father of the child. The woman who is the “wife” in this case is not the mother but will think she’s the mother and thinks the baby will have a mother and a father, but instead the baby will have a mother who thinks she’s a man and another person living with them who thinks she’s the mother but she’s not – and there will be no father.

Now they’re saying a man is having a baby. But we all know that it’s really a woman with a mental disorder who has mutilated herself and taken male hormones but still wants to get pregnant.

No one would have believed it. Sounds like a horror movie – or sci-fi movie, or a nightmare.

I’m intolerant because I recognize that the emperor has no clothes.

Homosexuals and Abortion

I know some may be uncomfortable with this, but it did cross my mind today.

I wonder…

Homosexuals are some of the biggest supporters of abortion. They are all about “don’t tell me what to do with my own body”. I’ve seen it time and time again where homosexuals were outspoken and adamant proponents of a womans “right to choose”.

They also claim that being homosexual is something they are born as – not a choice they made at some point in their life.

Let’s suppose for a minute, that they convinced the world that they were indeed “born that way”. Let’s also suppose that the tide turned on them, and people got sick and tired of homosexual “in your face” activism and forced acceptance and recognition of their perversion as being “normal”.

How would they feel if people started aborting babies that the doctors said were predisposed to homosexuality…? After all, homosexuality comes with a lot of problems - disease/depression/high mortality rates being just a few. Would they think there was anything wrong with abortion then? Would it be a hate crime? Would they seek to have homosexual fetuses listed as a protected group?

Just wondering...

At the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point , a group called Pointers for Life put up a display last month in honor of the nearly 4000 babies who are brutally and without remorse murdered and ripped from their mother’s wombs. A student by the name of Roderick King took offense, and went on a rampage, pulling up rows and rows of the crosses, even after a request to stop. He said it was his Constitutional right to do so. It was covered under the 1st amendment.

After watching the video of Mr. Roderick King’s rampage, I came to two conclusions.

Considering his mannerisms and body language, if the man is not gay, I would be extremely surprised.

I believe the crosses themselves are what set Mr. King off.

After all, the cross is an offense to the world.

Pride.

We all have it to varying degrees. I've got it. You've got it. Even the most humble among us, if the truth were exposed, have a form of pride even in their humbleness.

Maybe that’s why God hates pride so much.

For the froward is abomination to the LORD…” Proverbs 3:32

[froward meaning: turning back to one's own ways; difficult to deal with: stubbornly disobedient or contrary; going in one's own willful ways]

These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,…”

[notice the very first thing on the list]

Satan is a prideful being.

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.” Isaiah 14:13-14

God is a righteous being.

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Number 23:19

He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.” Deuteronomy 32:4

And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.” Psalms 9:8

When we let pride dictate our thoughts and actions, we are more closely aligned with Satan that with God – even if our actions or words appear righteous
.

Ridding ourselves of pride is a difficult thing to do. We are supposed to put others ahead of our selves. We are to seek God’s will, and not our own. We are to spread the Gospel, but in a humble and loving way rather than in a condemning spirit.

Christians are often accused of being prideful in our attempt to tell others of the truth of the Bible – that no one can be saved through their own works or goodness. To the lost, all they hear is that we are saved and on our way to heaven and they are lost on their way to hell. They don’t realize that in order for any human being on earth to be saved, he must purge himself completely of all pride and come before his God, his Creator, with a humble and repentant heart. In fact, we must come to Him as a child.

Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.” Mark 10:15

Very young children think the world revolves around them. I do not look at this as pride. They don’t know any better. They only know their little universe, and their wants and needs. Children have to be taught that we are to put others ahead of ourselves. We are not to give in to every want and desire we have at the expense of others. There is right, and there is wrong. I can’t think of many things in my life that are more touching that to see a child give selflessly to another, whether it be a toy, a hug, or a kind word.

I also remember times when one of my children would realize they had done something wrong, and come to me crying, “Mommy, I’m sorry.” They knew they may be punished, but they also were truly sorry that they had done wrong.

Society says that adults should act like adults. What do we do when our teens are acting immature and selfish? We say, “Quit acting like a three-year old.” When men or women act selfish or immature, they’re told to “act like a grown-up” or “be a man”.

But going to God is just the opposite. God is our heavenly Father. We are not His equal. We’re to go as a child, truly sorry for our sins, and ask Him to forgive us, knowing and believing that He will, and that our sin has been paid for through Jesus Christ.

It is only after we have been taught about pride that we can be guilty of it. Many older children, and yes, adults, still want the world to revolve around them. They seek self-gratification. That is pride. Christians, although they came to the Lord in humbleness, can revert back to the sin of pride. The danger is that a lost person will look at them and see no difference in them than in the lost sinner’s state.

How can we rid ourselves of pride?

We can learn and memorize scripture that reminds us of our struggle with it.

[Two of my favorites are “When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.” Proverbs 11:2, and “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.” Proverbs 16:18]

We can pray and ask God to help us get rid of it in our lives.

We can ask God to keep us humble. (He’s an expert in this area)

We can focus on Him and on others instead of ourselves.

We can spend more time in God's presence through prayer and reading of Scripture.
After all, next to God, we have absolutely nothing to be prideful about. Every instance in Scripture where man came in contact with God, pride was immediately wiped away and humility took its place.

Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.” Isaiah 6:5

When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.” Luke 5:8

When we are accused of being prideful by the lost, instead of automatically going on the defense to prove we are not, we should perform a quick self-examination. If we determine that we are truly walking in the Spirit, and the accuser is really offended by the Gospel, and not by us, then we should put that accusation aside. However, if we determine that maybe there is some truth in what we are accused of, and we are being prideful in what we are saying or in how we are saying it, we should immediately ask God’s forgiveness and His fullness of the Spirit, and then go back to our accuser and ask forgiveness. I’m not talking about compromise of the Word. I’m referring to the spirit in which we deliver it.

The following is my prayer for myself in dealing with pride. You may want to claim it as your own, or you may have another Scripture that more closely verbalizes your desire to overcome pride.

As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.” Psalms 17:15

When Lizards Attack

This is not a post I would normally put on my blog, but it was too cool not to share. Louisiana has a lot of fascinating animals, but this is the first time I've seen two lizards that look like this. I noticed them outside my office window and became fascinated with their fighting each other. I took several videos with my Nokia 6882 and although the footage is not really high quality, you can see well enough to enjoy something that is rarely seen. These two guys are huge and their heads are shaped differently than most of the lizards I've seen in the state. Anyone have a clue as to what type of lizards they might be?

Radical Homosexual Activism Behind the Political Scene

Ever wonder why such a small percentage of the population has managed to get so much attention, support, and favoritism?

The Governor of Colorado, Bill Ritter, has just signed a bill that adds “transgendered” people to the state non-discrimination law. Businesses, even if owned and operated by Christians or others who believe homosexuality is unacceptable will be forced to hire transgendered people who apply for employment. Churches, mosques and synagogues are exempt (for now anyway).

Also read The Americans for Truth About Homosexuality take on Colorado Transgender Bathroom Bill

This bill basically just transformed all public restrooms and locker rooms in Colorado into gender neutral restrooms.

In addition, a provision was included that forbids a public referendum or petition drive to overturn the law.

So why in the world would Governor Ritter do something like this?

Ask him about Tim Gill.

Who is Tim Gill?

This question may seem trivial, but the article following is probably one of the most disturbing articles I have read in recent years. The 2006 Congressional Elections, other State and even Local Elections are being skewed by gay philanthropists – and it’s being done under the radar. Wonder how much gay money was thrown at McCain's campaign?

The Mind of an Abortionist

I came across this article by accident while looking for Pro-Life Physicians sites.

Aspiring Abortion Doctors Drawn to Embattled Field

It turned my stomach to read about what drives this person to want to become an abortion provider.

Here is an excerpt:

FOURTH-year medical student Megan Lederer recently helped deliver a premature baby at barely six months gestation. The newborn was tiny, unimaginably fragile, but she survived.

Caught up in the moment, Lederer didn't think about the implication for her chosen career. Later, though, she wondered: Could I have aborted that pregnancy?

She could have, she decided. She would have felt an obligation…

But she and other young doctors-in-training have found their own motivation to enter a field that they know will put them at risk of isolation, harassment and hatred. For them, doing abortions is an act of defiance — a way of pushing back against mounting restrictions on a right they've taken for granted all their lives.

"It's like when your big brother says you can't do something," Lederer said. "That just makes you want to do it even more."

The depravity of man. And I believe the truth is, these doctors and medical professionals know in their heart that they are committing murder – but they rationalize and desensitize themselves to it.

Dr. Warren Hern, a legend in the abortion rights movement, wrote the following:

"...the sensations of dismemberment flow through the forceps like an electric current" — and after three decades, he is not inured to that feeling. "We are hard-wired as a species to protect small, young, helpless creatures," he said. "The fetus is not a baby, but it's close. Some are very close. It's difficult."

See how he lies to himself to keep his sanity. I wonder if he sleeps well at night.

I wonder if he’s kept count, or if the numbers are too great that he has no idea how many human beings he has destroyed.

Over at Marshall's place, he posted a link to this article.

Not being one that watches television, I had missed the story mentioned in the article about terrorists using two mental patients for their deranged deeds. Here is an excerpt from the article:

A few months ago 91 Iraqi civilians were blown up by two mental patients suffering from Down Syndrome, their bomb probably triggered by remote control. None of the American media made a fuss about the atrocity. They're never going to blame the actual criminals. How many bombings have we seen aiming specifically to murder innocent civilians, women, children, shoppers in a market? There have been thousands in Iraq alone. In jihadi eyes it is glorious to kill innocent people as deliberate policy. After all, Allah will know his own in Paradise.

As I said at Marshall's place,

Sick. Evil. Perverted. Demented.
Killing the innocent for your own twisted cause.

But then, liberals support abortion, don't they?
