Snow in Louisiana in the Summertime

I'm snowed under.

For those that pray and have a inkling to do so on my behalf, I would appreciate it. I'm so overloaded at the moment that I can't see daylight.

I have a temporarily very heavy burden at work, I'm in the middle of starting a new ministry at my church, and I'm temporarily overloaded with bookkeeping for my husband's and my business. (oh yeah...and I have a husband and kids to tend to as well)

Key word here is "temporarily".

Psalm 55:6 comes to mind. "And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest."

So I guess, "talk amongst yourselves".

*grin*

Gas Prices - All Bush's Fault!

In April of 2006, President George Bush declared:

"We have a common-sense plan to help bring down skyrocketing gas prices by cracking down on price-gouging; rolling back the billions of dollars in taxpayer subsidies, tax breaks and royalty relief given to big oil and gas companies; and increasing production of alternative fuels".

Unleaded was at $2.69 then. It's $3.97 here in my town. I use super unleaded and I paid $4.07 yesterday.

It's all Bush's fault, right? He promised a common-sense plan! He promised tax breaks! Bush! It's always Bush!

Wrong. The above quote was not Bush's. It was Nancy Pelosi, and she is the one who said:

"Democrats have a common-sense plan to help bring down skyrocketing gas prices by cracking down on price-gouging; rolling back the billions of dollars in taxpayer subsidies, tax breaks and royalty relief given to big oil and gas companies; and increasing production of alternative fuels."

As of last week, Pelosi still has not unveiled her "common sense plan". But it's STILL Bush's fault!! EVERYTHING is Bush's fault!!!

Ah, The Media doing what it Does Best.

Yes, the news media is at it again. Printing an “objective” article about presidential hopeful John McCain’s trouble as a public speaker. They are right, you know. He doesn’t come across well. Boring almost. Clumsy.

McCain Works Hard to Polish Skills as Orator

But what about the Media’s darling, the great Black Hope? Without a teleprompter, Obama is a bumbling idiot. Why doesn’t the media report on that?

Obama Lost Without a Teleprompter

Obama Has Been in 57 States of the 59 States?
