Alan Keyes makes some excellent points on this subject today about a remark that liberally biased Chris Matthews coughed up concerning the President’s recent visit to West Point.
Here is an excerpt:
But America's military leaders have been educated to respect the authority of the Constitution, not that of any given individual or faction. As this safeguards the liberty of the people, it also makes the professional discipline of the military a reliable friend to all government officials who act with respect for its constitutional provisions. If Obama faction zealots like Chris Matthews instead see the educational home of that military tradition as the "enemy camp," their apprehension speaks tellingly of their own deep abandonment of the constitutional loyalty they apparently fear in the honorable defenders of the Constitution.
My enemy is the liberal who hates what the founding Fathers of this country envisioned. The enemy of my enemy is the US armed forces, who have sworn to uphold the Constitution. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Ms.Green, One has to wonder how far this hatred for God and our nation will go before God fearing and constitution loving patriots will draw a line in the sand? I am beginning to see the level of disgust and anguish at an all time high for those of us who love our nation and our God. What this will lead to, I do not know. But what I do know is that God has his hand on the aorta of this nation's blood. Its our economical and political heart. He may bring this nation to its knees in order to get our attention. There is change blowing in the air, but I'm not liking it. It could become horrific and bloody. Herm
ReplyDeleteHerm, I'm afraid the next terrorist attack on our soil is going to make 9/11 look like a minor incident. Horrific may well be the term to describe what is in store for this country.
ReplyDeleteDo not forget the midterm elections coming up next year. Get busy. Talk to friends and relatives and be prepared to defend the position that the current situation is dangerous to all. Give financial support if possible to not only those in your own districts and locales, but in those where races might be tight. If all we can do is reduce the majorities of either houses of Congress, such as just one Dem Senator being replaced by a solidly conservative Republican (or even a marginally conservative one), we can begin to overturn the damage that's been done, and block the damgage they intend to do.
