Hugo Chavez - a Liberal's Leader

Hugo Chavez is not so bad – at least liberals don’t think so.
Barbara Walters likes him.
Danny Glover likes him.
Cindy Sheehan likes him.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad likes him.

The Liberal Media is slow to criticize Chavez, and most US media interviewers fail to ask the tough questions and instead give him a platform to spew his leftist political rantings about being for the poor and downtrodden, as well as to insult our President with his incessant name-calling.

What is not being widely reported in the MSM is the continuous seizure of private property in Venezuela. He recently seized the last of his country’s private oil fields, and is now moving to seize private farmland. For years, Venezuela’s farmers have had to contend with squatters who move onto their land and then burn their crops to intimidate them into leaving them alone. Now Chavez is sending in his army to help the squatters build socialist cooperatives on the land they do not own and are living on illegally. This in addition to shutting down a TV station that has dared to oppose his government .

Other than that, he’s a pretty nice guy. Just ask any liberal.
