Enemy of my Enemy

We on the right are aware of the contempt that the radical liberal left has for our Constitution. Occupants of Congress, and even the White House itself have shown their unashamed disregard and disrespect for the sacred document that our country is founded upon. Presently we have the Harry Reids, Nancy Pelosis, BHOs, and let’s not forget the former president Bill “I loathe the military” Clinton. Even George W. showed some disregard for the document, though not nearly as egregiously as the present occupant has. Our mainstream media has been in bed with these Constitution haters increasingly more often, and as in any person’s life who is hiding something, sooner or later they’re going to slip up and the truth is going to come out.

Alan Keyes makes some excellent points on this subject today about a remark that liberally biased Chris Matthews coughed up concerning the President’s recent visit to West Point.

Here is an excerpt:

But America's military leaders have been educated to respect the authority of the Constitution, not that of any given individual or faction. As this safeguards the liberty of the people, it also makes the professional discipline of the military a reliable friend to all government officials who act with respect for its constitutional provisions. If Obama faction zealots like Chris Matthews instead see the educational home of that military tradition as the "enemy camp," their apprehension speaks tellingly of their own deep abandonment of the constitutional loyalty they apparently fear in the honorable defenders of the Constitution.

My enemy is the liberal who hates what the founding Fathers of this country envisioned. The enemy of my enemy is the US armed forces, who have sworn to uphold the Constitution. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Yahoo Top Ten Searches Reflects Ignorance of the Masses

Whether you are on the left or on the right, one thing is clear. If you follow politics, if you are concerned about your country, or are following world events and how they will affect you personally, you are in the minority. Most of the world could care less.

Or at least, most of the industrialized world.

Yahoo listed their top 10 searches for 2009, in order.

I suspect Google's top 10 would be very similar.

Michael Jackson
The Twilight Saga
Megan Fox
Britney Spears
Naruto
American Idol
Kim Kardashian
Nascar
Runescape

Notice a pattern here? All ten searches have to do with activities that allow mental or visual escape from reality.

This tell me several things.

*People either don’t care about the world around them or feel helpless to do anything about it.

*People are basically ignorant.

*Liberals and Conservatives fighting each other over policies and ideology are a small group compared to the masses.

*Obama’s appeal was in great part an “escape” to a lot of voters. They obviously knew little about who he really was…or didn’t care. He and his handlers have known this all along and their strategies reflect this. This is the why of the near-idol status of the first Black president, the Greek columns at his acceptance speech, the Wednesday night parties at the White House, the topless pics at the beach, etc. etc. ad nauseum.

And the Republicans gave us McCain. The anti-idol.

Mary Landrieu sells out

November 20, 2009: Landrieu Undecided

November 20, 2009: Landrieu...Wins Goodies

November 21, 2009: Landrieu Still Undecided

November 23, 2009: Landrieu Takes Louisianians for a Ride

November 25, 2009: Landrieu...Humiliates Louisiana

* * *
Prostitute: "A person who does, or offers to do, an activity for money, despite personal dislike or dishonour".

The left seems totally appalled that Landrieu has been called a prostitute, and yet that is exactly what she is according to the definition of the word. What is totally hypocritical is that the left supports the ideology that legally and legislatively supports homosexuality, legalized prostitution in Nevada, pornography, and a host of other immoral and reprehensive behaviors. Why are they suddenly offended when one of their own is recognized publicly for who they are?

Sentiment

You would think that the illustrious Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano would be working to prevent a possible wave of Muslim terrorists acts against Americans on American soil in light of the recent terrorist massacre at Ft. Hood this past week.

Think again. Where was she as of yesterday? In a Muslim country.

Doing what, you ask? Read this and try to keep your blood pressure from going up.

First sentence reads as follows.
"The U.S. Homeland Security secretary says she is working to prevent a possible wave of anti-Muslim sentiment after the shootings at Fort Hood in Texas."

Anti-Muslim sentiment? We've got 12 more bodies to add to the count of thousands from radical Muslim ideology and you want to talk about sentiment?

I've got a sentiment for you. I feel like you should get your fat rear end back over here to the USA and do what your title suggests you should do. Worry about our Homeland's security.

Got a letter in the mail the other day from none other than the Department of Health and Human Resources Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. I'm wondering if anyone else who reads it will find it as disturbing as I did.

It read as follows:

From the Director of the National Center for Health Statistics:

I am asking for your help with an important study conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) called the National Immunization Survey (NIS). This survey tells us which vaccines people in the U.S. have received and about other important health topics. Results from the NIS are used to help health officials in their efforts to improve health care programs. In the next few weeks, the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) at the University of Chicago will call your household to take part in this study for CDC.

For this study, we need to ask about vaccinations and about children's health. Some households also may be asked about the health services their children need or use. If you have a child between 18 and 35 months of age, it would be helpful to have your child's immunization records handy when answering our questions. However, you can also answer these questions without the records.

Your phone number was chosen randomly by computer. It is important for us to interview every household we call to get a complete picture of your area's immunization rates and key factors that might affect them. The study is important, but you do not have to take part, or you can decide not to answer one or more questions.

The letter then goes on to give information about a toll free number you can call to participate in the survey immediately or to find out what types of questions will be asked. It also gives a web address.

The last paragraph includes these words:

Your answers to the NIS will provide information to help improve the nation's health now and in the years ahead...

The really interesting part will be if they actually call me - because I don't have a land line and my cell number is the only number I use.

Out of the Office

I won't be posting much for the next few weeks. I have Vacation Bible School coming up and I need to pray and prepare for that. I'm also in the midst of trying to sell my house so that I can complete the contract we have signed on some property. I'm also in the midst of the busy season at work.

In other words, I need to spend my time on things other than reading and writing for my blog.

I appreciate all my readers (both of you). Please check back in about a month. I should be back up and running by then.

Until then...

God is good...all the time.
He loves you.
He wants to show you that He loves you, but He won't do it against your will and He won't do it on your terms - but on His.

His way is always better than ours.

APA in the Beginnings of Reversal on Homosexuality?

In September of last year I wrote about the APA’s removal of homosexuality from its list of deviant behaviors, and how it was obvious that this move was coerced by threats from the radical homosexual community. I further exposed the fact that the vote was by no means unanimous nor even did it set a mandate for all psychologists to follow.

In light of the revelations set forth in that article, I find the news this week especially interesting.

APA Revises “Gay Gene” Theory

Gay Gene Claim Suddenly Vanishes

Could it be that members of the APA are realizing what a mistake they made, and how they’ve opened Pandora’s Box to release a legion of sexual deviants onto the landscape to do whatsoever they will – with no restraints and no accountability?
I'd guess that they have, and they're trying to determine the best way to do damage control and redeem themselves for their egregious mistake.
