The DHS Report - What it's Really All About

Read if for yourself. DHS Report on Right Wing Extremism Better yet, download it and keep it for future reference.

I’ve heard and read the scoffing of liberals at the reactions of Conservatives and Christians over the new Department of Homeland Security report on Right Wing Extremism. They laugh – especially at us Christians, for being “paranoid” and “overreacting”.

The reason we’re concerned (though not overreacting – as the left-wingers label it) is that we know where this is headed. Christian persecution is just over the horizon. The reason that we are sure of this is because we already know the future, not because we’re clairvoyant, but because God knows the future, and He’s told us what it contains. It's spelled out in Scripture for anyone who wants to take the time to read it.

The end of mankind’s existence on this earth is drawing near. The last years will see Christians persecuted as never before – and as a matter of record, that is already happening in other parts of the world. It’s coming to the USA now.

They laugh, but then they aren’t the ones being listed as potential terrorists in the report.

Excerpts:

"The economic downturn and the election of the first African American president present unique drivers for rightwing radicalization and recruitment."

"Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration."

"The high volume of purchases and stockpiling of weapons and ammunition by rightwing extremists in anticipation of restrictions and bans in some parts of the country continue to be a primary concern to law enforcement."
The report also mentions "conspiracy theories related to gun confiscations, citizen detention camps, and a Jewish-controlled "one world government".

Let’s be honest here.

What group is repeatedly called "haters"?
What group has been most vocal against electing Obama?
What group is the most vocal against abortion?
What group is most vocal against homosexuality?
What group is most vocal against illegal immigration (they left the word "illegal" out of their report)?
What group seems most concerned about the loss of our personal freedoms?
What group is the most vocal about upholding our Constitution (i.e. most especially the 1st and 2nd amendments)?
What group believes, because the Bible clearly states it, that a "One world Government" is coming?

That’s right. It’s Christians.

This thinly veiled DHS report is really about Christians.

Will the liberal left laugh when our fears become reality?

I think so.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:10

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Matthew 5:12

I think they are correct in assuming there may be someone who may try to assassinate Obama, but anyone who might try that certainly isn't a Christian.

There are some misguided and mentally deranged individuals around who say they are Christian, but just saying it doesn't make it so.

Especially if their actions belie the declaration.

I think the real problem with bureaucrats like Napolitano is, they confuse those who say they are Christian with those who truly are Christians. That is because, not being Christians themselves, they don't recognize Christ's indwelling spirit when they see it.

So, don't be too critical, but instead, pray for them that they might see with new eyes and hear with new ears.

OK, taking off my frock and collar now.
