According to the latest finanial disclosure reports, Rep. Willie Jefferson has some interesting friends.
He has been on numerous "paid for" trips - including one trip to Egypt, paid for by the Arab-American Chamber of Commerce, one to the United Arab Emirates and one to Qatar - both paid for by the Islamic Free Market Institute and the Qatar Chamber of Commerce.
Willie Jefferson is under federal investigation for bribery.

Now I forget... just why was William Jefferson elected....?

Louisiana politics...Huey Long,Edwin Edwards, David Duke,William Jefferson.

And here in the south, they call Louisiana Politics "colorful".
