What did Jesus say about the End Times?

Read the Headlines Lately?

WHAT DID JESUS SAY ABOUT THE END OF THE WORLD?

Matthew 24:3-14 says:

"… the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
…And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences
(diseases, pandemics etc), and earthquakes, in divers places.
All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
(Christian persecution)
And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many
(false Christianity, false religions).
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world
(modern technology) for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."

Mark 13 adds:
"And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
…Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death
" (common Islamic practice is to put family members to death if they convert to Christianity).

And II Timothy 3:1-5 "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away
."

PROMISES FROM JESUS CHRIST FOR THOSE WHO OVERCOME THE WORLD

God’s plan was and is for us to “overcome” by coming to Him by faith
in His Son, Jesus Christ.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." (John 14:6)

There IS a Heaven and there IS a Hell.
God doesn’t send anyone to either place.
We choose where we will go
.

Which is more merciful?

1. To expect us to figure out on our own how good we have to be to keep from going to hell and then hope we don’t mess it up?
or
2. To offer us grace and mercy by having already paid for our sins and offering us a free gift of heaven?

Heaven is a free gift. Would you like to claim your free gift? Here’s how:

Admit that you aren’t good enough to go to heaven on your own merit
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (Romans 3:23)
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Believe that Jesus is God and that He took your punishment for your sin

Call on Him and ask Him to save you.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)

I'll be the first to post on this I suppose.
Spot-on, nail on the head, exactly what needs to be told!!
Too many preachers and congration members are so busy trying to "scare" non-beleivers into being saved that they themselves have lost their way. We should talking about what they need to do to make sure that they're (non-beleivers) not here during the tribulation period. Whoo cares about the fact that the end times are in sight, "see that ye be not troubled". I would rather suffer for Christ than live in pleasure for Satan. Go tell it on the mountain, don't look both ways before you pray. If we don't tell them, they'll never know.
Just remember, none of all that we think matters actually matters, God's got it all under control and he's got the whole world in his hands tonight.

You sound very passionate about your faith! That is wonderful. We need more passion like that in the world!
