Anti-Discrimination Policy is Discriminatory

Honeywell has long catered to the homosexual crowd. The company claims a zero-tolerance stand on discrimination. Thus the partners of homosexual employees are given full health insurance benefits.
No more discrimination, right?

Wrong.

Sandi Scott-Moore, a female employee who is living with her boyfriend has filed a discrimination suit against her employer because her boyfriend was denied health benefits.

If benefits can go to the unmarried partner of a homosexual, then isn’t Honeywell discriminating because of the gender of Scott-Moore’s partner?

Honeywell says they won’t tolerate discrimination. They also say Scott-Moore’s suit is without merit.

What’s wrong with this picture?

Brings to mind a favorite Scripture of mine.

He made a pit, and digged it, and has fallen into the ditch which he made.” Psalm 7:15

I personally hope this costs Honeywell dearly.

Y'know, I usually hate the term "slippery slope", but in this case, if the shoe fits....

I'm going to add you to my blogroll. I've been meaning to, but that chronic ADD acts up! ;)

Wow... Now that's an honest case of discrimination.
