There's Nothing Sweeter

I'm teaching a class this week for Vacation Bible School, and also helping to counsel those that come forward during the invitation each day.
Dealing with children and the message of the Gospel is an awesome responsibility. You want them to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, but you don't want to push them into something that they don't yet truly understand. But when the best happens - and you do get to lead some young man or lady to the Lord, it is the sweetest most satifying feeling in the whole world. There are two young ladies today whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life that were not there before. And the angels rejoice. As do I. But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Luke 18:16

Teaching the word of God is the most awsome responsibility anyone can undertake. I have seen many a young person taught the wrong meaning of God's words and most never recover from it. The Mormans, Jehovah's Witnesses and a multitude of others teach false doctrine that blind people's mind to the truth. These type religious organizations are just what Satan ordered to substain that blindness until the eternal fate of Hell is a reality.
When a person steps into the teaching position they most certianly have to be called by God to that position and need to have studied the Bible in true context for several years.
Teaching God's word a very, very, serious position!
