The Liberals’ Passover
“For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.” Exodus 12:23
The blood of an innocent was shed for each Israelite family on Passover. But the shed blood was not enough to save them from death. You see, the blood had to be applied. Putting the blood over the doorway and on each side post (which, by the way, forms a cross, if you think about it) insured that the death angel would pass over their home and spare them.
Unlike fundamentalist Christians, liberals don’t believe the story of Moses and the 10 plaques on Egypt. They don’t believe God really sent all those judgments in order to persuade Pharaoh to let the Israelites go. They don’t believe that a death angel came, and then spared these families from death because of the blood of the lamb.
“…Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” John 1:29
Unlike fundamentalists Christians, liberals don’t believe that Jesus was the sacrificial lamb Who died in our place. They don’t believe His shed blood has to be applied to us in order to be saved from eternal death. Jesus was the Passover lamb for all mankind. But you see, the blood has to be applied – through faith.
No, the liberals don’t believe in the first Passover. They don’t believe in Jesus as the Passover Lamb of God.
They do believe in a Passover though.
Islamic jihadists want to come in and kill every man, woman, and child who does not profess Allah as their God. Liberals, however, believe that if we would just have dialogue with them, if we would just change our foreign policies and back down from our war on terror, if we would just treat them nice, then they would be appeased, and we wouldn’t have to worry about them anymore. There would be a Passover. We would be spared. The death angel of Jihad would pass over us.
I have one question for the Liberals. Whose blood will be applied?

Somehow I doubt their mistake will cost them. It will cost the rest of us though.
If History has taught us anything it is this:
The first people to be executed after a dictator takes over a country is the people in that country that supported the dictator. In other words, the traitors to their own country are always the first people to die.
The reason is simple. The dictator knows if they can't be trusted to support their own people, they would be the first to turn against him.
Denial is part of the far left theology. If you deny evil enough, maybe it really does not exist?
Fortunately for us who think logically, we know you must confront evil, not be in a state of denial!
John, I tend to think that Mark is right. Because liberals are anti-God, anti-religion, pro-abortion and pro-homosexual, and because most of liberal Hollywood is making trashy, smutty movies, the Muslims would cut their heads off before the rest of us.
Robert - you have a good point. Liberals aren't without their theology. I think I just posted about their belief in the Passover. (smile)
It boils down to this...
Leftist "Christians" place their faith in humanity.
Fundies place their faith in the Creator.
Good points. It is amazing to watch how they delete whatever they don't like, then they'll mock you for being a fundamentalist.
