Border Fence Too Expensive

One of my new favorite writers, Vasko Kohlmayer, has written an article entitled The Myth of Expensive Border Fence. In it, he dispels the ridiculous claim that a border fence costs too much. In the process of reading the piece, the same question kept resurfacing in my mind. What, then, is the real reason the federal government says we can't afford a border fence?

Could it be because the Liberals see a whole new voter base from which to draw?

Could it be there are kickbacks coming from companies which benefit from low-paid workers?

Could it be because there is a plan in the works to join the three countries, Canada, USA, and Mexico into an alignment similar to the European Union?

Could it be that the ultimate goal is to dissolve the sovereignty of our country and turn us into a proletariat state?

Can’t have a one world government in place until the US is no longer a power to be reckoned with.

I hate to admit it, but I believe the politicians (including Bush)are allowing corporations to manipulate them so they can save billions of money by employing low wage labor, and since most illegals are being paid under the table, they are saving billions on benefits as well.

I hate it that such may be, and probably is, true. But it is no secret that politics is a muddy business, motivated, financed, and manipulated by big money from big corporations.

In spite of the hypocrisy, I support Conservatives because the idea of supporting Democrats, with their Communistic, Socialist, and Marxist agendas are wholly unthinkable and repugnant.

It is futile to support any third party in this system. It wastes your vote.

I agree wholeheartedly. However, the “conservative” Republicans of today were considered liberals twenty years ago. How do we steer the party back onto the right path? If we just keep voting Republican, they will continue to veer to the left.

Third parties might be futile today, but I believe there could come a point in time when conservatives have had enough, and in mass unity will vote the Republican bums out and put a third part conservative in. I pray for that anyway.
