The Green Religion "Down Under"

The government of Australia is hoping to phase out the plastic bag by year’s end.

Seriously. No joke.

So what do Aussies do next?
They could use more paper bags…
Nope – cutting down trees hurts the environment.
They could buy less at a time and just go to the grocer more often…
Nope – driving a vehicle to and fro hurts the environment.

At some point, some wacko liberal green party type will come to the conclusion that the only way to save the environment is for all humans to drop dead.

Get reusable cloth bags?
Walk to the store and only carry as much as you can fit in your backpack?
Use paper bags made from recycled content?

Humans might not be solely responsible for global climate change and we might not be able to stop it, but God charges us to be stewards of Creation so I'd like to do my part.
