Why We're in the Financial Mess We're In and Why it Matters that You Know

This needs to be watched by those wondering why the country is in the financial crisis it is in (and it is in one). It can all be proven if you do the research.
McCain's never been my first choice, but next to Obama, he's looking better all the time.

Ummm....I'm not going to buy it so fast. Dems will never get my vote. But, what stopped George Bush and Republican Congress/senate since 2000? They could have fixed this mess, right? Did they? Answer - No!!

Again, it looks like this video is the production of some republican branch to create the same fear among the party base so we all get out and support the party so they can go back to DC and screw us all over!

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on....!! smiles

I agree that overall the Republicans did not do their job when they were in power. That's one reason why they lost positions in 2006. However, when this video says the Democrats blocked legislation that would have set specific regulations in place that could have held off what has happened with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, that means the majority of Dems voted against it, with a few liberal Republicans that went over to their side. And as you can see, those with the biggest hands in the cookie jar (Dodd, Frank, Obama, etc) were all Dems.

The main point of this video, I think is to expose Obama for who he is - one of the "elite" who is no different that the rest of them - certainly not an "agent for change" and to show us that socialist thinking like that which led to this financial mess is part of Obama's political worldview.

You'll not hear me voicing flowery accolades about McCain either - it's just that at this point, with his choice of Palin as his running mate, he is a much better choice than BHO.
