Note to Non-Christian Readers

This is a Christian based blog. I worship the one true God of the Bible. All are welcome to read and post on this site but I will not allow posts that deny my God or promote other false gods. Because of recent God-denying posts, I have turned comment moderation back on. If you want to see your comment posted here, leave out the promotion of your anti-Christian gods. I suggest you read my post linked at the top of this page called “My Narrow-Minded Faith”.

What do you make of 1 Corinthians 14:33-35?

It looks like the church at Corinth was having some problems with rowdy women in the church disrupting services and monopolizing the gatherings. Since we don’t have the original letter to Paul containing the questions that were asked of him, we can’t know for sure.

All we do know for sure is that Paul was addressing specific issues and questions posed by the church at Corinth. In addition, in this chapter he was addressing specifically tongues and prophecy, and some think he was referring to women speaking in tongues and prophesying in the church.

So what do you make of it?

A.H. You just gave yourself away. You aren't even a good Muslim, because Muslims do have respect for Jesus Christ and don't call Him just another Jewish guy from westbank.

Your posts aren't going to make it on my blog the way you're going. And you are right, time is short - but the sad truth for you is that you are on the losing side. Allah is nothing more than a false moon god that Mohommed's parents worshipped along with a lot of other gods. Allah doesn't love you and doesn't promise you eternal life unless you kill somebody. Allah can lie. Allah can hate.

My God loves us all, promises eternal life in heaven to any who will trust in Jesus for their salvation, can't lie or sin because of His holiness, and the only thing He hates is sin.

Why would I want to worship your god compared to mine?
(That's a rhetorical question - don't worry about answering it)

Jesus and Mohamed can be summed up in a clear but true true comment:

One came to seek and to save those who were lost, the other came to seek and destroy the kafir (unbeliever). One was true and innocent all the way to his death, the other killed women and children, and took a child to be a wife. One offered salvation by Grace, the other offered salvation by Works. One was the Son of the Living God, the other was a false prophet, a Wolfe in sheep's clothing. One rose from the Dead to reign at the right hand of the Father, the other died in a shameful death, never to be heard from again. One created followers who changed the world, the other created followers to destroy the world, and finally one shall return with his glory that he will share with no other, the other will taste the fire that cannot be quenched.

Our God reigns forever and ever, Blessed is the name of the Father, The Son and the Holy Ghost!

Ms Green, I have written a blog post on the difference between moral relativism and Christianity on my other blog,

Check it out. I wrote it because after an argument on Marshall Art's blog with a couple of guys who say they are Christian but don't believe the Bible, I thought it best to define what I believe is the difference.

I was raised Catholic, yet never really knew God.
I became a follower of Christ (Born again Christian) in 1995!
Everything in the whole world changed!!!
My heart aches for those bound by false religions. A nun once wrote to me that the Catholics believe the One True God and Allah are the same. (They Can't Be!
Allah didn't have a Son!)
The Koran says:
"SAY NOT THAT ALLAH BEGOT A SON." *
(* Sura 23:91)
Please pray for blind eyes to be opened!
