For or against Homosexuality? Warren can't seem to Decide.

I've never been a fan of Rick Warren. He's too soft on sin and too big on being in the media and being the center of attention. Apparently Joseph Farah has the same feelings about Warren.

Rick Warren's gospel is not one of repentance but of acceptance, which is totally contrary to the message of the Bible. He also sorely lacks in an area that John the Baptist so keenly understood...

Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying. And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he [Jesus] that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.

John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.

He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

He must increase, but I must decrease.

Warren is on magazine covers, book covers, at the White House, in the center of Presidential debates, on television, and anywhere else where there is a limelight.

Warren's personal Purpose-Driven-Life seems to be about increasing, not decreasing.

April 8 Follow up: Warren actually made the following statements (full article here). Keep in mind this is a man who claims to be a Christian and who is supposed to be a spiritual leader responsible for his flock:

"he has "never been and never will be" an "anti-gay or anti-gay marriage activist." [The opposite of anti-gay is pro-gay and the opposite of anti-gay marriage is pro-gay marriage]

" I never support a candidate, but on moral issues I come out very clear."
[Considering his remarks recently, I would say he's not too clear at all]

"I wrote to all my gay friends -- the leaders that I knew -- and actually apologized to them."

[Apologized? About what? You are weak on this issue that it is hard to tell where you actually stand. Your church members have to be confused after getting your letter, which seemed so strongly to support Prop 8, and then finding out you called "all (your) gay friends...and actually apologized to them."]

Why any true Christian follows anything this man says, writes or does is a puzzle to me, and I have friends in my own church who think his Purpose Driven stuff is really great. Sorry, I can't support this man in anything he does because I believe he is a false teacher.

To Whom do You Bow?

September 11, 2001.

That day will never be forgotten, at least by those who care about this country.

Of the many terrorists involved in the murder of Americans that day, 9 of them were from Saudi Arabia, a Muslim country that on the surface seems to be an ally of the USA. Sharia law influences the law of the land in Saudi Arabia, and though not as outwardly radical as an Iran, it has its share of Imams and other Muslim leaders who spew hatred toward the West and toward Israel and the USA in particular.

In Saudi Arabia, their law includes:
Wives and children considered property of the husband
The beating of drinkers and gamblers
The sanctioning of wife-beating
The jailing of individuals publically practicing religion other than Islam
The execution of homosexuals
Sex outside of marriage means flogging (more so for the woman than the man) and stoning to death for adultery (again, more so for the woman than the man)

All this is a preface to what I have to say next.

Barrack Hussein Obama is a disgrace to the United States of America. Protocol means nothing to him. After he and his wife’s flippant attitudes toward the Queen of England, for him to bow down to a Muslim King from Saudi Arabia was a disgusting and sickening act.

The country which produced 9 of the murdering terrorists that killed thousands of our own and he bows down to their king.

The country whose laws listed above promote oppression rather than freedom, and he bows down to their king.

The country whose religion teaches that Jews and Christians should be hunted down and killed, and he bows down to their king.


BHO does not represent me.
I bow to no one but Jesus.
He should do the same.

Christianity and Unrepentant Homosexuality

I went to this website after seeing the church mentioned by someone who is a “liberal Christian” (note: see Webster’s online dictionary for the word “oxymoron”)

The page I linked to is the “What We Believe” page for the “Cathedral of Hope”.

Normally, on a Christian church website there is a “what we believe” page. This is the page that gives an idea to the reader of where the church stands doctrinally on the basics of the Christian faith.

There was notably no mention on the entire page of this webpage the words “sin”, or “repentance”, or why anyone is in need of a Savior.

As I wrote in an earlier post – without sin, there is no need of a Savior. Cathedral of Hope obviously doesn’t see much need for a Savior. Which directly contradicts the whole point of the Bible.

I mention this not just for the sake of criticism, but to point out that everyone who claims to be a Christian is not necessarily so. This must be very confusing to non-Christians.

Here are some things that they DO say at the Cathedral of Hope website:

To redefine Christianity as an including faith rather than an excluding religion.

…many of us in the church grew up singing old hymns like “Rise Up O Men of God”, “Dear Lord and Father of Mankind”, “Faith of Our Fathers” and others.
These were the hymns of our spirituality and of our childhood. The problem is that they are no more appropriate for us today than are the racist chants of the Ku Klux Klan or the homophobic rhetoric of the Moral Majority.

The Mission of the Cathedral of Hope is to reclaim Christianity as a faith of extravagant grace,radical inclusion and relentless compassion.

The whole point of their redefining Christianity, and their radical inclusion as they call it, is to embrace and condone homosexuality as acceptable within the Christian religion.

They can call themselves a church, but they are not a Christian church.

I’ve heard those in favor of homosexual marriage, when confronted with the passages that clearly say homosexuality is an abomination, say one or two passages of Scripture do not support the belief that homosexuality is wrong.
They imply that because there are so few passages on the subject, we can’t judge homosexuality to be sinful.

However, when hundreds of passages say that a Husband is male and a Wife is female, they shake their heads and refuse to listen.

A word search of Scripture on these key words:

Husband 108 times
Bridegroom 20 times
Wife 370 times
Bride 14 times

In none of these instances, is the Husband anything other male.

In none of these instances, is the Wife anything other than female.

They refuse to listen to a few passages.
Then they turn around and refuse to listen to hundreds of passages.

They refuse, because they are in rebellion.

They refuse, because they want to do what they think is right.

Think and believe what they will - they cannot justify it with Scripture. The only legitimate argument they have is if they say they disagree with Scripture - or disagree with God.


Genesis 2:24: Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and cleave to his wife, and the two shall be one flesh. (does NOT say, therefore shall a man leave his dad and his dad, and cleave to his boyfriend, and the two shall be one flesh.)

But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. (does NOT say that the head of the woman is another woman)

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. (does NOT say for the husband is the head of his husband)

They refuse to listen to a few passages.
Then they turn around and refuse to listen to hundreds of passages.

They refuse, because they are in rebellion. They refuse, because they want to do what they think is right.

“And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:” Numbers 15:39

“Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.” Deuteronomy 12:8

“Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.” Proverbs 3:7

Again, this has to be confusing to non-Christians. But then we know who the author of confusion is and is not.

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. I Corinthians 14:33

In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion. Psalm 71:1

Bible to be Popular with Homosexuals and Liberal Christians?

I really did think I'd heard it all, but of course, there's always something even more perverted, more disgusting, and more blasphemous that ever before.

When I first heard about this, and after looking at this website, I thought surely that it was a parody, or just a sleazy joke, but several online publications have picked up the story, so I'm pretty sure it's legit.

The Princess Diana Gay Bible is scheduled to be published soon.

Basically, this book trashes Christianity and mocks Jesus Christ. Should be very popular.

Which makes it all the more abhorrent.

Rejected and Forgotten - The Fate of False Christianity

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Hosea 4:6

Thou shalt not kill. (“… thou hast forgotten the law of thy God…”)

One of the foundations of Judeao-Christian faith is the sanctity of life. God shows us clearly that he knows us while we are yet being formed in the womb.

“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, …” Jeremiah 1:5

If the fetus was just tissue, God would not speak of it in such a personal and intimate way, but many who profess Christ have forgotten His Father’s law. Thou shalt not kill. Kill as in “murder”, not as in accident or in war.

Do not stand before others and profess that you know, love and serve Christ and then condone the murder of his creations. I reject your false Christianity.

“…as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.” Matthew 15:8

Not only do you condone abortion, but you rejoice in it, you savor it, you are proud of your position. Or, you ignore the subject, hide your face, focus on other views that are more important to you, and as I mentioned in an earlier post, you say abortion is a non-issue.

It’s not a non-issue with God. God creates all life.

“…I will also forget thy children.”

Children can see through hypocrisy. So many people go to church, sing some songs, listen to a sermon, tell everybody “God bless you, I’m praying for you,” but then go home and live life their way all week. They act like the world, talk like the world, drink and party like the world, watch filth on television and in movies, celebrate homosexuality and defend abortion. If you don’t live your faith, your children will reject your faith.

God rejects your false Christianity as well.

Abandoning the Faith

Below is an actual "What we Believe" statement from a church that claims to be a Christian Church. There is much wrong with it Scripturally, but most of all, it's extremly disturbing. This type of church is repeated all across our country today. I count at least 15 Scripturally compromising points within this statement.

Additional Catholic Teachings on Salvation

A continuation of the RCC doctrine of salvation.


The RCC teaches: Salvation is a lifelong process. (Catechisms 161-162, 1254-1255) The Bible teaches: Salvation is an instantaneous once for all time act of God. "Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him." Romans 5:9


The RCC teaches: Salvation is gained by cooperating with grace through faith, good works, and by participating in the sacraments. (Catechisms 183, 1129, 1815, 2002). The Bible teaches: Salvation is attained by grace through faith apart from works "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:Not of works, lest any man should boast."

The RCC teaches: Grace is merited by good works. (Catechisms 2010, 2027). The Bible teaches: Grace and works don't mix. "And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work." Romans 11:6.

The RCC teaches: Catholics guilty of mortal sin are justified again through the sacrament of penance. (Catechisms 980, 1446) The Bible teaches: There is no second justification. "Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified." Romans 8:30

The RCC teaches: Venial sins will not send one to hell. (Cathechisms 1855, 1863). The Bible teaches: Every sin is punishable by eternal death. "For the wages of sin is death; " Romans 6:23.


The RCC teaches: No one can know for sure if he/she is going to heaven. (Catechisms 1036, 2005). The Bible teaches: The believer can know that he has eternal life by the Word of God. "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life...I John 5:13.

Does the Catholic Church Teach a True Gospel?

Marshall was concerned about my statement that the RCC does not preach a pure and true Gospel. He grew up in a Catholic church that taught salvation by faith alone in Christ. However, that is not the official teaching of the Roman Church. The following statements from Catholic Church fathers and popes, along with statements from Vatican II can all be found in Catholic documents online, including the Catholic Encyclopedia and websites about the different popes through the ages. The following clearly shows that the RCC does not teach salvation by faith alone in Jesus Christ as proclaimed, for example,in Ephesians 2:8-9.

I want to emphasize that I have known many wonderful people who were Catholic, and I believe sincerely that some of them are saved, but I believe they are saved IN SPITE OF their church's teaching - not because of it.

…two prominent emergent church leaders are participating in an ecumenical forum today in Seattle because they believe dialogue with Hindus, Buddhists, and Muslims will not only enrich their fellowship, but give them another view of Jesus the Bible doesn't give.

They will certainly get other views of Jesus that the Bible doesn’t give.

For instance:

Hindus teach that Jesus is one among many Masters or Prophets or Incarnations.

Buddhists teach that Jesus is just one of many deities with many incarnations. Deepak Chopra says in his book, “The Third Jesus”: “And finally, there is the third Jesus, the cosmic Christ, the spiritual guide whose teaching embraces all humanity, not just the church built in his name. He speaks to the individual who wants to find God as a personal experience, to attain what some might call grace, or God-consciousness, or enlightenment

Muslims teach that Jesus was a great prophet – but not as great a Mohammed, and that he did not die on the cross – that Judas Iscariot did. Muslims reject the deity of Jesus and reject the Trinity.

I don’t want “another view of Jesus”. The Bible has inspired (God-breathed) information. Any other information that contradicts that is trash.

They aren’t giving young people credit. Young people are real. They don’t want a watered down truth. Give it to them plain and simple. For instance, in my church the teens and young adults are given the truth of the Gospel…that we are sinners, that we need a Savior, and that we can’t be good enough to go to heaven. Most of them understand that easily. They know their sin. When confronted about it, they admit it. And thankfully, most of them eventually come to the point that their sin is not as important to them as their eternity – and they come to Christ. They are also told of the abundant life that God promises His children – the peace that passes all understanding and the joy of a victorious Christian life.

Isn’t that what everyone is really looking for? Love…joy…peace.

These things can’t be found anywhere else but in Jesus. The Jesus of the Bible. Not the Jesus of Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, or the Emergent Church.

Atheism is a Religion

Atheists have increased their attacks against what they call "religion" since the 9/11 attacks, and have lumped all religions into one, saying that religion leads to violence because of intolerance, that religion is just a crutch for the weak, and that any rational, intellectual, scientific individual knows that there is no God.


When confronted with arguments to the contrary, they usually (though not always) result to ad hominem attacks against whomever would dare to disagree with them. But then, atheists are like Christians, or any other group of people - some are nice, others are jerks - it works that way with all humans.

The truth is, atheism has all the components of a religion,and is based on beliefs.

They believe there is no God.
They have doctrine (a set of ideals that they are taught and teach others)
They have "historical fathers"
They have their present priests/elders (leaders)
They have a lawgiver and set of rules and standards (they are their own God, and their own lawgiver)
They believe in their wordview
They believe theirs is the only truth.

I actually have a little more respect for atheists than agnostics. Atheists at least on the surface, are more sure of themselves, and tend to stand up for what they believe in. Agnostics on the other hand, tend to not defend themselves too much or attack a belief in God unless they are cornered into it, at which time they can be just as vicious as an atheist. Having been a former agnostic, I understand their postion better than I can an atheist's, but know that inside, the agnostic just isn't sure - but is hoping he's not wrong.

Atheists mock Christian's belief in heaven - a place of eternal joy that we receive at the end of this life - having put our faith in Jesus for our salvation.

Atheist's heaven is on earth - it's a place where they can do whatever they want to, whenever they want to, with whomever they want to - as a result of their belief that there is no God.

Atheists are sometimes frustrating to try to converse with, because they are so often hostile, but "liberal" or "progressive" Christians are sometimes equally so. That seems a little strange, but when one realizes that progressives are in some cases no closer to Christianity than an atheist, it doesn't seem so strange.

Atheists, agnostics, liberal progressives...they can all be saved. And many from all three of these groups have been. I'm one. I know a considerable number of others. So if someone you care for false into one of these three categories, don't give up. Keep praying for them. Watch God work. He does still save.

Joel Olsteen - Another False Teacher/Preacher

I've never been a fan of Joel Olsteen. I believe he is a false teacher with a false Gospel. He just reaffirmed this to me in his recent interview with Chris Wallace when he had these things to say about Mitt Romney and Mormonism:

"Mitt Romney has said that he believes in Christ as his Savior, and that's what I believe. I'm not the one to judge the little details of [Romney's religion], so I believe [Mormons are Christians]..."

Then shortly after, when asked another question about Mormonism, Osteen said he did not know enough about the religion's beliefs to comment.

A man who professes to be a preacher of God's Word, who accepts Mormonism as Christian, and then in the next breath says he doesn't know enough about the religion to comment, is a false teacher and shouldn't be preaching.

What Mitt Romney's Faith Speech Didn't Tell You

I didn’t hear it, but I read the transcript.

He said a lot of good sounding things, as well as some not so good ones.

"There are some who may feel that religion is not a matter to be seriously considered in the context of the weighty threats that face us. If so, they are at odds with the nation's founders…”

"I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of mankind."


"No religion should dictate to the state nor should the state interfere with the free practice of religion."

"We should acknowledge the Creator as did the Founders - in ceremony and word. He should remain on our currency, in our pledge, in the teaching of our history, and during the holiday season, nativity scenes and menorahs should be welcome in our public places. … I will take care to separate the affairs of government from any religion, but I will not separate us from 'the God who gave us liberty."

"Americans acknowledge that liberty is a gift of God, not an indulgence of government."


Doesn’t sound good:

"A person should not be elected because of his faith nor should he be rejected because of his faith."

"Each religion has its own unique doctrines and history. These are not bases for criticism but rather a test of our tolerance."

"For if he becomes president he will need the prayers of the people of all faiths."

"I believe that every faith I have encountered draws its adherents closer to God."

What he did not say is more significant than what he did say.

He did not say:

That his religion teaches that God was not always God –that He was once merely a man.

That his religion teaches that Jesus is not God, but only God’s Son.

That his religion teaches that Jesus and Lucifer were brothers.

That his religion teaches that God is not the only God – there are an infinite number of gods.

That his religion teaches that God is flesh and bone.

That his religion teaches that he, Mitt Romney, can one day obtain Godhood and rule his own planet.


We don’t need a man in the Whitehouse who thinks he’s going to be a god someday. Too much power. Who’s to say that he might not decide to start practicing to be a god while he’s running the most powerful country on earth?

I’m sometimes criticized for my “narrow-minded” view of God and my belief that my God is the one true God, and that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. I’m told by some that there are many paths to God and that He reveals Himself to different cultures in different ways.

But you see, I would not be true to the God I believe in if I espoused those same notions about “many paths to God” that I hear so often. I would not be a true follower.

DIFFERENT PATHS TO GOD?
My God makes it clear that He IS the only God, and that Jesus IS the only way. As for my background, I’m an American of both European and American Indian descent. Because of the ministry I'm involved in, I have Christian friends around the world -Singapore, Korea, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Italy, Germany, the Philippines, etc. and yes I have Jewish Christian friends and American Indian Christian friends as well; - all different cultures, but with the same faith in the one True God. The Bible was originally presented to the Jews, with the purpose of being spread throughout the world. So there’s no mention in Scripture of God’s plan being to reveal Himself to different cultures in different ways. In fact, He said just the opposite:

“And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15

“…It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.” Acts 13:46


OTHER GODS?
Following are just a very few of the literally hundreds of verses that tell me that I am to worship no other god.

I am to submit to no other god.
I am to refuse to participate in any homage to any other god.
He makes no concessions for “other paths”.

“Ye are My witnesses, saith the LORD, and My servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He: before Me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after Me.” Isaiah 43:10

“Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and His redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside Me there is no God.” Isaiah 44:6

“Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.” Isaiah 45:22

” Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD He is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.” Deuteronomy 4:39

“That all the people of the earth may know that the LORD is God, and that there is none else.” I Kings 8:60

“I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.” Exodus 20:2-3


“Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.” Deuteronomy 12:30


GOD DEMANDS FAITHFULNESS
Not only am I not to worship other gods, but God makes it clear that I could draw His wrath by doing anything other than worshipping Him and Him alone.

“Because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke Me to anger, in that they went to burn incense, and to serve other gods, whom they knew not, neither they, ye, nor your fathers. Howbeit I sent unto you all My servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate. But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other gods. Wherefore My fury and Mine anger was poured forth, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as at this day.” Jeremiah 44:3-6


Here's one that a lot of people today should be thankful is not enforced:

“And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the Lord, shall be put to death.” Leviticus 24:16

WHEN WE TURN OUR BACKS ON GOD
God makes it clear that if we abandon Him, He will not keep His hand of protection upon us. As a nation, if we do not honor God, and we allow ourselves to be subject to false gods, we are destined for destruction. And when destruction comes, God will not protect us.

“And He shall say, Where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted, … let them rise up and help you, and be your protection.” Deuteronomy 32:37-38

That is why I was so upset to have a pagan priest praying on behalf of our country and our leadership.

THERE IS NOT OTHER WAY TO GOD BUT THROUGH JESUS
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.” John 14:6


CHRISTIANS NEED TO BE BOLD ABOUT THEIR FAITH
“If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” II Chronicles 7:14

God wants us to turn back to Him. If only we would.

“O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear Me, and keep all My commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!” Deuteronomy 5:29

WHAT GOD DO YOU WORSHIP?
If you are reading this and still thinking that I am very narrow-minded and that all religions are equal, then I would ask this question. Is the god you serve willing to share his glory and worship with false gods? Is the god you serve a “politically correct” god? Is your god not a holy and just god? Is your god not that holy, that he can accept unpunished sin into his presence in heaven?

Then maybe you are worshipping the wrong god.

WHAT MY GOD HAS DONE FOR ME
My God suffered and died on a cross to pay for my sins so that I could spend eternity in heaven.
Allah didn't die for me.
Buddha didn't die for me.
Vishnu didn't die for me.
Confucius didn't die for me.
No Wiccan priestess, no animal deity, no Kami died for me.
Only Jesus Christ did that. And then to prove He was God He literally came back to life from the dead. So how can I possibly accept that there is any other way but His?

IN CLOSING
You may say I’m narrow minded. But I believe what I believe. I make no apologies for that. God has promised me salvation at the end of that narrow road.

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matthew 7:13-14

Broad is the way that leadeth to destruction.
Narrow is the way which leadeth unto life.

I choose life.

Pagan Prayer for our Nation

As I watched the video of Hindu Rajan Zed, with the few minutes of interruption by the only Christians who had any boldness at all (we’re not talking about any Christian senators, mind you), and heard his prayer, I found myself crying. God forgive us, I said under my breath, for allowing a pagan Hindu priest to offer up prayers to his false gods on behalf of our country.

So who invited the Hindu chaplain Rajan Zed to lead prayer in the Senate?
None other than Harry Reid.

Reid, who is a Mormon, said afterwards “I think it speaks well of our country that someone representing the faith of about a billion people comes here and can speak in communication with our heavenly Father regarding peace.”

Our heavenly Father? He shares His glory with no one.

It shouldn’t surprise anyone that Reid would have no problem with a polytheist offering prayer. Mormons are also polytheists, believing that there are many gods, and that they themselves will be gods one day.

Mormons, Hindus, Muslims, Atheists, they all have one thing in common. They deny Jesus Christ as Lord, Saviour, and God.

The most disturbing aspect of this all is the reaction of many bloggers to the Christian protesters who were arrested for causing a disturbance. The outcry was not about having a pagan lead in prayer, but in the Christians’ protest. What did these horrible protestors say?

The three Christian protestors were heard to shout:

“Lord Jesus, forgive us Father for allowing a prayer of the wicked, which is an abomination in Your sight,"

“No Lord but Jesus Christ" and

"There's only one true God."

For this they were arrested and put in jail for causing a disturbance.

The protestors were seen as haters, intolerant bigots, and worse – words I won’t post here.

More and more, Christians are seen as “haters”. And yet we aren’t the ones committing the violent crimes against those that don’t believe as we do. The unbelieving world is definitely blind to the spiritual forces at work.

“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” II Corinthians 4:4

One Nation Under gods

According to this story, a Hindu is scheduled to open the Senate in prayer tomorrow.

One nation, under Gods, becoming more and more divided, with liberty for the elite.

What is wrong with our politicians? A Hindu?

I predict that within the next 2 years there will be a wiccan opening prayer in the Senate. Why not? It's no less ridiculous than a Hindu or a Muslim.

First the revisionists rewrote our history. Now the humanistic architects are rebuilding it into a creation that has no resemblance to its original foundation.

But humanists don't believe in God, you say. Exactly my point. By kicking God out of the public forum and then inviting and attempting to bring all false gods up to the same level as the one true God, without partiality they eliminate the significance (in their eyes) of God in our lives. In other words, it's all superstition, so what difference does it make which god we pray to?

If and when the rapture comes in my lifetime, it's going to be very hard not to laugh at the world as it disappears from my sight. Then I'll probably cry.

Not All Scientists Believe in Global Warming

The religion of Environmentalism tries to silence its critics at every turn. Anyone who dares to question global warming is a blasphemer. Much of the media are members of this religion, and they tend to deal with environmental heretics by refusing to acknowledge that they exist. Take this press release, which barely got coverage at all by the MSM.

Highlights of the press release include an impressive list of scientists who question, or even publicly disagree with the global warming alarmists of the day.

A few quotes from the article:

“Many rationalist scientists agree … clearly demonstrating there is no scientific consensus on man-made, catastrophic global warming.”

“Not only is it speculative to claim that humans can in any way influence the course of climate but it is arrogant to suggest that today's climate is getting worse than it has been in the past.”

“It is great to know that someone out there besides geologists understands that humans do not dominate earth's dynamic systems.”

Soulforce Founder Remarks on Jerry Falwell's Death

The founder of the gay activist group Soulforce, Mel White, who calls himself a “Reverend”, and who represents those who call themselves “gay Christians”, was recently interviewed on his thoughts about Jerry Falwell. He had this to say about Falwell’s death.

“I knew there would be just a huge hole in Virginia and in Lynchburg, and I felt for those people. But at the same time I was feeling more strongly that now we'll never have a chance for Jerry Falwell to say, "I was wrong. I did wrong, and I said wrong, and I'm sorry. God creates gay people and loves them just like she created them. I'm not going to say anything more against gay people because I was wrong."
Imagine the consequence that would have had for so many people. Falwell was the face of homophobia."

No Mel, Falwell was the face of conservative Christian, Biblical values. God is not a “she” and Falwell could have lived to be a hundred years old and I’m confident he would never have said “I was wrong…God creates gay people…”

Falwell did not hate homosexuals. He did preach against the sin. He preached against all sin for that matter.

God does not create alcoholics. Nor does he create adulterers, child molesters, murderers, or bank robbers. God does not create homosexuals. God creates people. People choose to sin, and one of the sins they choose is homosexuality. The good news is that God offers freedom and redemption from sin through His (not “her”) Son, Jesus Christ.

An unrepentant sinner cannot get saved. Which means an unrepentant practicing homosexual who says they’ve gotten saved is going to one day hear the words, “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

Child Sacrifices

I read an article today about an archeological discovery near Mexico City. The remains of several dozen children, ranging from about 5 to 15, were discovered laid out in the same position, facing east, around a shrine to a Toltec god Tlaloc, evidently as the result of a mass child sacrifice. The children had incisions on the vertebrae that suggested they had their throats cut by some sort of stone. Not a lot is known about the Toltecs. They predate the Aztecs, who believed that sacrificed children would become servants to Tlaloc in the next life and bring more rain. Evidently the Toltecs had at least similar beliefs.

I wonder, if humanity lasts that long, if someday archeologists won’t stumble across some landfill in North America and discover the bodies of many fetuses among other "medical waste" that will cause them to ponder what god they were sacrificed to and for what benefit. Maybe the god of convenience?
