APA in the Beginnings of Reversal on Homosexuality?

In September of last year I wrote about the APA’s removal of homosexuality from its list of deviant behaviors, and how it was obvious that this move was coerced by threats from the radical homosexual community. I further exposed the fact that the vote was by no means unanimous nor even did it set a mandate for all psychologists to follow.

In light of the revelations set forth in that article, I find the news this week especially interesting.

APA Revises “Gay Gene” Theory

Gay Gene Claim Suddenly Vanishes

Could it be that members of the APA are realizing what a mistake they made, and how they’ve opened Pandora’s Box to release a legion of sexual deviants onto the landscape to do whatsoever they will – with no restraints and no accountability?
I'd guess that they have, and they're trying to determine the best way to do damage control and redeem themselves for their egregious mistake.

Wanda Sykes - Hate Speech

I've listened to Rush for years on an irregular basis, but enough to say that I've never ever heard him wish death on anyone. So when I heard about and watched the video of Obama getting a good laugh from some 2nd rate comedienne saying that she hoped Rush's kidneys failed, it just reaffirmed for me my belief that liberals are the real haters. While conservative pundits criticize policies and ideals, liberals tend to stoop to name calling - more times than not because they can't make a valid, intelligent case for their positions.

If you watch the video I linked to above, you'll notice that not everyone was rolling in the aisle at the kidney joke. Even some of these liberals obviously thought she went too far...and managed to get a nervous laugh out so as not to be "uncool" by not laughing at her sick joke. She noticed it too, because she even remarked that she knew they were laughing on the inside. Right, Wanda. You are just so funny.

Sykes, a lesbian, said recently " the passage of California’s Proposition 8 made her feel like she was 'attacked'."

“Now, I gotta get in their face,” she said. “I’m proud to be a woman. I’m proud to be a black woman, and I’m proud to be gay.”

I would say you are a pretty good attacker yourself. Made a point to mention Rush's former addiction to pain meds. Getting addicted to pain medications is not quite the same as doing coke and smoking weed socially. Another low blow against Rush that was uncalled for.

Hateful. Liberals. Gays. They talk about tolerance, but they have none themselves. They talk about hate - but they know it better than anyone.

As for Obama laughing at the possibility of Rush's kidneys failing...

I'm with Rush. I hope Obama fails too, because if he succeeds, our country will cease to exist as we know it.

And my kidneys are just fine, thank you.

Joel Osteen on Larry King Live

Joel Osteen and his wishy-washy don’t-step-on-anybody’s-toes kind of religion.

This false prophet/teacher does not speak for God nor for true Christianity. As one commenter said, it's not what Osteen "thinks" that is important...it is what God says.

For or against Homosexuality? Warren can't seem to Decide.

I've never been a fan of Rick Warren. He's too soft on sin and too big on being in the media and being the center of attention. Apparently Joseph Farah has the same feelings about Warren.

Rick Warren's gospel is not one of repentance but of acceptance, which is totally contrary to the message of the Bible. He also sorely lacks in an area that John the Baptist so keenly understood...

Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying. And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he [Jesus] that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.

John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.

He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

He must increase, but I must decrease.

John 3:25-30

Warren is on magazine covers, book covers, at the White House, in the center of Presidential debates, on television, and anywhere else where there is a limelight.

Warren's personal Purpose-Driven-Life seems to be about increasing, not decreasing.

April 8 Follow up: Warren actually made the following statements (full article here). Keep in mind this is a man who claims to be a Christian and who is supposed to be a spiritual leader responsible for his flock:

"he has "never been and never will be" an "anti-gay or anti-gay marriage activist." [The opposite of anti-gay is pro-gay and the opposite of anti-gay marriage is pro-gay marriage]

" I never support a candidate, but on moral issues I come out very clear."
[Considering his remarks recently, I would say he's not too clear at all]

"I wrote to all my gay friends -- the leaders that I knew -- and actually apologized to them."

[Apologized? About what? You are weak on this issue that it is hard to tell where you actually stand. Your church members have to be confused after getting your letter, which seemed so strongly to support Prop 8, and then finding out you called "all (your) gay friends...and actually apologized to them."]

Why any true Christian follows anything this man says, writes or does is a puzzle to me, and I have friends in my own church who think his Purpose Driven stuff is really great. Sorry, I can't support this man in anything he does because I believe he is a false teacher.

Fear is not an Option

My husband has a shirt that says “I support P.E.T.A”

The shirt is bright yellow, and draws a lot of attention. But most people miss the smaller print underneath the larger letters.

“People Eating Tasty Animals”

Even my brother and sister-in-law, who are vegetarians, chuckle at this one.

The other day he was getting his truck washed, and as he came up to the cashier to pay, she did a double-take at his shirt, smiled, and then leaned over and whispered, “I like your shirt!”.

She continued whispering. “Ever notice how a lot of the same people who are so radical about protecting animals support the killing of humans through abortion?”

“Yeah, doesn’t make sense, does it?” He whispered back.

They then had a conversation about the state of our country at the moment, with frequent pauses so that other customers could pay her for their vehicles. They discussed the administration, the liberal direction it is taking us, and how far we are being shoved from the values on which our country was founded.

Their conversation ended with a common Christian goodbye. “God bless you.”

When he later told me about their conversation, I started thinking about why the woman would feel the need to whisper. I know my husband whispered to be polite, because she was whispering. I’m fairly certain that she whispered because she was afraid someone else in her place of business – one of her customers – might be offended at something she or my husband said.

Isn’t that just what we’re finding ourselves doing more and more? Whispering? Why?

Fear. We are being forced into fearfulness. Fear of “offending” others. Fear of ridicule for our beliefs. Fear of retaliation. Fear of our government.

Fear of being destitute is causing people to horde their money due to the economic crisis we are in.
Fear of being called a racist is keeping people from speaking out against Obama.
Fear of the government ignoring the second amendment – or even abolishing it – is causing people to horde guns and ammunition.
Fear of being called bigoted or holier-than-thou is keeping Christians from sharing their faith with others.
Fear of others not like ourselves (racial, ethnic, religious differences) is keeping people from being friendly to strangers.
Fear of being called names like “homophobe”, “anti-social”, “racist”, “intolerant”, “close-minded”, or “extremist” makes us wary of voicing our opinions in public.
Fear of crime is keeping people holed up in their homes behind bars and security systems.
Fear of rejection is resulting in more and more people being less and less connected with others, and choosing to socialize in the “safer” environment of the Internet community.

Homosexuals know how to use fear as a weapon. If anyone dares to speak out against their perversion, they’re called names and they’re verbally intimidated.

Abortionists know how to use fear as a weapon. They tell women that we are trying to tell them what to do with their “own bodies”. They call pro-lifers radical extremists.

People like Rosie O’Donnell know how to use fear as a weapon by labeling Christians as terrorists.

Groups like the Brady bunch (as in Gun-Control activists) know how to use fear as a weapon by labeling law-abiding citizens as “nut cases” because they support the 2nd amendment and own and know how to use weapons.

The Obama administration knows how to use fear as a weapon. It is using the “economic crisis” to push through its socialist style agenda , knowing that fear of an economic collapse will keep most from objecting.

The administration’s plan to put together a “Civilian Security Force” will cause people to stay distanced from each other through fear.

Taxing the AIG bonuses (unconstitutionally, I might add) at 90% puts fear in those who are achievers.

Don’t make waves. Don’t criticize government. Don’t overachieve and bring attention to yourself. Blend in. Get along. Compromise. Be agreeable. Don’t be different.

There is an old German saying that says “"Fear makes the wolf bigger than he is."

I refuse to be afraid.

I won’t be afraid to speak out against wrong when I see it. The wrongdoers should be afraid of me.
I won’t be afraid of my government. My government should be afraid of me.
I won’t be afraid of sharing my faith. It is the lost who should be afraid. I should want to help them see the danger they really ARE in and show them the way out.
I won’t be afraid of criminals. I purpose in my heart to protect myself against them. They should be afraid of me.
I won’t be afraid of strangers. They could turn out to be my friends and confidantes.

I won’t be afraid to voice my opinion in public, and I won’t be afraid to contact my Senators and Representatives and let them know how I expect them to vote on issues.

And what if, by chance, I do become frightened? There is only One I can turn too.

What time I am afraid, I will trust in Thee. Psalms 56:3.

Christianity and Unrepentant Homosexuality

I went to this website after seeing the church mentioned by someone who is a “liberal Christian” (note: see Webster’s online dictionary for the word “oxymoron”)

The page I linked to is the “What We Believe” page for the “Cathedral of Hope”.

Normally, on a Christian church website there is a “what we believe” page. This is the page that gives an idea to the reader of where the church stands doctrinally on the basics of the Christian faith.

There was notably no mention on the entire page of this webpage the words “sin”, or “repentance”, or why anyone is in need of a Savior.

As I wrote in an earlier post – without sin, there is no need of a Savior. Cathedral of Hope obviously doesn’t see much need for a Savior. Which directly contradicts the whole point of the Bible.

I mention this not just for the sake of criticism, but to point out that everyone who claims to be a Christian is not necessarily so. This must be very confusing to non-Christians.

Here are some things that they DO say at the Cathedral of Hope website:

To redefine Christianity as an including faith rather than an excluding religion.

…many of us in the church grew up singing old hymns like “Rise Up O Men of God”, “Dear Lord and Father of Mankind”, “Faith of Our Fathers” and others.
These were the hymns of our spirituality and of our childhood. The problem is that they are no more appropriate for us today than are the racist chants of the Ku Klux Klan or the homophobic rhetoric of the Moral Majority.

The Mission of the Cathedral of Hope is to reclaim Christianity as a faith of extravagant grace, radical inclusion and relentless compassion.

The whole point of their redefining Christianity, and their radical inclusion as they call it, is to embrace and condone homosexuality as acceptable within the Christian religion.

They can call themselves a church, but they are not a Christian church.

I’ve heard those in favor of homosexual marriage, when confronted with the passages that clearly say homosexuality is an abomination, say one or two passages of Scripture do not support the belief that homosexuality is wrong.
They imply that because there are so few passages on the subject, we can’t judge homosexuality to be sinful.

However, when hundreds of passages say that a Husband is male and a Wife is female, they shake their heads and refuse to listen.

A word search of Scripture on these key words:

Husband 108 times
Bridegroom 20 times
Wife 370 times
Bride 14 times

In none of these instances, is the Husband anything other male.

In none of these instances, is the Wife anything other than female.

They refuse to listen to a few passages.
Then they turn around and refuse to listen to hundreds of passages.

They refuse, because they are in rebellion.

They refuse, because they want to do what they think is right.

Think and believe what they will - they cannot justify it with Scripture. The only legitimate argument they have is if they say they disagree with Scripture - or disagree with God.

Genesis 2:24: Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and cleave to his wife, and the two shall be one flesh. (does NOT say, therefore shall a man leave his dad and his dad, and cleave to his boyfriend, and the two shall be one flesh.)

But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. (does NOT say that the head of the woman is another woman)

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. (does NOT say for the husband is the head of his husband)

They refuse to listen to a few passages.
Then they turn around and refuse to listen to hundreds of passages.

They refuse, because they are in rebellion. They refuse, because they want to do what they think is right.
.
And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:” Numbers 15:39

Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.” Deuteronomy 12:8

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.” Proverbs 3:7

Again, this has to be confusing to non-Christians. But then we know who the author of confusion is and is not.

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. I Corinthians 14:33

In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion. Psalm 71:1

Quote of the Week

Gene Robinson of New Hampshire, the first openly gay Episcopal bishop and an Obama supporter, was upset about Obama’s choice of Rick Warren to lead the invocation at his inauguration.

Gene was quoted by the Times as saying, “we’re talking about putting someone up front and center at what will be the most-watched inauguration in history, and asking his blessing on the nation. And the God that he’s praying to is not the God that I know.”

You are right, Gene. You don’t know the God that Rick will be praying to, because, as much as I disagree with Rick Warren on a lot of issues, the God he prays to says that homosexuality is an abomination, as well as is fornication – both of which you are guilty. Your God is not the God of Christianity.

Thanks for admitting it publicly.

Bible to be Popular with Homosexuals and Liberal Christians?

I really did think I'd heard it all, but of course, there's always something even more perverted, more disgusting, and more blasphemous that ever before.

When I first heard about this, and after looking at this website, I thought surely that it was a parody, or just a sleazy joke, but several online publications have picked up the story, so I'm pretty sure it's legit.

The Princess Diana Gay Bible is scheduled to be published soon.

Basically, this book trashes Christianity and mocks Jesus Christ. Should be very popular.

Which makes it all the more abhorrent.

Double Standard - Who are the Real Haters?

This happened in Lansing Michigan on November 9th:

This happened in San Francisco shortly after:

Hundreds of homosexual activists rushed out of bars and swarmed a group of Christians who were singing songs in San Francisco's Castro District – and some even threatened to kill the worshippers.

A group of Christians had been singing and praying in the "gay" district for several days, but they never expected an angry mob would run them out. However, that's what happened Friday night.

One woman who was attacked told her story with Pastor Lou Engle at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City. She said the group's fellowship had been peaceful for several nights before the riot.

"People would come stand with us and join us," she said. "We got to pray for some people."

But then angry men began yelling profanities and warning the Christians to leave the district.

Here is the full story.

Here's a video taken of the event...(warning - profanity used on several occasions)

Notice what one of the homosexuals said - "this is our neighborhood".

Oh, really? Whose church was it in Michigan? Isn't there a difference between being in a public place on a public street and peacefully exercising your First Amendment Rights and in disrupting a church service?

When is the last time you saw violent, profanity-spewing Christians chasing after homosexuals and screaming at them? You haven't, and you won't.

Don't EVEN mention Fred Phelps and his ilk. They are NOT Christians.

Yet, the lie continues that Christians are haters.

Sarah Palin Effigy

In West Hollywood, Chad Michael Morisette and his homosexual partner have a Halloween display in their front yard that depicts Sarah Palin hanging from a noose and John McCain burning in the chimney. The liberals don’t see anything offensive about this at all.

One video shows the sheriff basically saying, “Get over it. It’s Halloween.”

Now picture this.

I decide that for Halloween, I’m going to have an effigy of two homosexuals burning in the chimney, an effigy of Obama hanging from a tree, and a effigy of a sheriff hanging from a third tree with a pumpkin smashed over his head.

Think anyone will be offended?

Story Here

Video 2

By the way…after watching the first video, did anyone else ask themselves, “Is there anybody in West Hollywood who is straight?”

Homosexuals Worried About Defeat in Prop 8

Homosexuals in California are worried. They're admitting that they are losing the fight over Proposition 8.

Proposition 8 is on the 2008 California General Election ballot which will eliminate the "rights" of homosexual couples to get married. If passed, the proposition will change the California Constitution to eliminate the right of same-sex couples to marry in California. It would also add a statement to the constitution stating "only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California."

Most people in California don't want homosexual marriage. For that matter, most people in the country don't want it. If California, as liberal a state as it is,sees homosexuals lose this battle, it could have a ripple effect across the country - and gay rights activists know this.

They've posted a cry for help from straights who are sympathetic of "gay rights" They are asking their straight sympathizers to help encourage their straight friends in California to vote no on Prop 8.

Homosexuals try hard to convince the world that they are all decent, kind, family-oriented individuals. Read some of the comments at the end of the article I linked to. Here are a few excerpts (expletives deleted):

i rest my case on the following lines. freedom is what this country stood for until religious &#$%% corrupted it and took control through illusion to dictate what we are supposed to be. if the rest of the world is slowly opening up the doors, then why are the christians and retards from the south still living in single wide trailers beating their wives and preaching jesus in a hateful manner?

we should disclude them because they're not really people.

"we're not gonna play fair if you are an intolerant *&@%$%$"

Such different worldviews. They fear a Christian victory in the election. Yet only Christ can bring them peace and freedom.

Homosexual Activism - a Powerful Force

How many times have we heard homosexual activists tout the American Psychological Association’s decision to remove homosexuality from the list of psychological disorders? Well, here’s some interesting figures to ponder.

The vote was not so impressive, or even overwhelming.

Out of close to 30,000 APA members at the time, the final vote was 5,584 to 3,810 to remove this sexual deviation from the list of disorders. This means that only about 37% of the group voted, and out of 25,243 members, a mere 22% of them decided for the entire organization. However, homosexual activists will say about the vote “58% voted to remove homosexuality as a disorder. Well – that is a partial truth. 5,584 is about 58% of 9394. However, it is only 22% of the total membership that year.

Makes one wonder, if in private, how many of the other almost 16,000 members would admit that they stayed out of this politically motivated vote, and are still of the opinion that homosexuality is a psychological problem. Even Simon LeVay, the “gay gene” proponent said “Gay activism was clearly the force that propelled the APA to declassify homosexuality.”

Prior to this vote, homosexuality was considered a mental disorder under section "302,Sexual Deviations" in the DSM-II. Here’s a quote from the DSM: "This category is for individuals whose sexual interests are directed primarily toward objects other than people of the opposite sex, toward sexual acts … performed under bizarre circumstances. … Even though many find their practices distasteful, they remain unable to substitute normal sexual behavior for them."

Now, because of the diagnostic code for homosexuality being removed, doctors are prevented from diagnosing homosexuality as a mental disorder regardless of their professional evaluation.

Here are two other interesting studies:

Prior to the political “gay rights” movement which insists that homosexuals are “born that way”, there were two major studies done – one in the 1940s and the second in the 1970s. Both of these studies involving homosexuals had essentially the same results: homosexuals overwhelmingly (some 80%) believed their homosexuality was the result of social and/or environmental influence.

Then the gay rights movement came onto the scene. In 1983, the Family Research Institute conducted another study with surprisingly (not really) different results. In their study, 35% of homosexuals believed they were born that way. But here’s an interesting side note: almost 80% of heterosexuals in the same study said their heterosexuality was learned behavior.

Believing that “God made me this way” greatly reduces, or even eliminates the need to search one’s heart to see if one is in sin against God, and to have to face one’s sin and repent of it. Denial helps eliminate the feelings of guilt.

Denial does not, however, eliminate guilt. Only asking God for forgiveness and accepting Christ as one's Savior can do that

Public Library Porn

Imagine taking a trip with your kids to the local library. Nice family outing. The next thing you know, your kid is sitting at a table in front of you looking at photographs of perverted homosexual acts and saying, “Mommy, what’s THIS!!!”

I don’t know about your local public library, but in Nampa Idaho, the ACLU has made sure that this very kind of thing COULD happen.

There are adult book stores in most towns. If someone wants to read or look at the pictures in The Joy of Sex or The Joy of Homosexual Sex, they don’t have to go far. The Internet is ready and waiting to satisfy every fetish, every craving, and every voyeur’s need. There are bookstores and heck, even most convenience stores carry trashy magazines if you’ll just look.

The public library is not the place to showcase this type of thing.

The key work here is “public”. If one can’t prance around naked in public, or commit lewd and obscene sexual acts in public, then this type of literature does not need to be in the “public” library.

I am not advocating censorship or book burning. I am advocating discretion. I'm advocating common sense in areas when kids are concerned.

Common sense. Something the ACLU knows nothing about.

Disingenuousness

Main Entry: dis·in·gen·u·ous
Pronunciation: \ˌdis-in-ˈjen-yə-wəs, -yü-əs-\
Function: adjective
Date: 1655
: lacking in candor; also : giving a false appearance of simple frankness : calculating— dis·in·gen·u·ous·ly adverb
— dis·in·gen·u·ous·ness noun

One thing I have a lot of trouble with is disingenuousness.

What do I mean by that?

I can totally disagree with someone and still have respect for them. But being honest gains more respect from me than dishonesty.

I have more respect for the person who says “I don’t see anything wrong with abortion and think it should be perfectly legal in all circumstances” than I do for the person who says “I’m personally against abortion, but I believe every woman should have a right to choose.”

The first person has a stand, believes what they believe, and offers no apology.

The second person is disingenuous – they say that they are against abortion, but are they really? Do they really think it’s ok for a woman to choose to rip an unborn baby from its protective environment inside its mother and brutally burn it to death with a saline solution or puncture its skull? Don’t tell me you are personally against something like this and then be willing to stand by idly while others engage in this type of horrific murder of the innocent.

There is another area of disingenuousness in society today and it concerns homosexuality.

Political correctness has succeeded in bullying people into submission to the “homosexuality is normal” crowd.

There was a time not too many years ago when you could randomly survey just about anyone in this country and ask them if they thought homosexuality was normal and healthy – and their response would be “are you kidding? It’s perverted. Two men French kissing? Gross. Two women romantically involved? Sick. And what they do in the bedroom? No mental pictures please. And keep them away from my kids!

No one can deny this fact. Up until about 40 or 50 years ago, homosexuality was seen as and treated as a mental illness, a perversion, a sickness. It was a choice of lifestyle. Even homosexuals themselves overwhelmingly believed and admitted that they were not born homosexual, but chose that lifestyle – in most instances because they had an experience with an older member of the same sex who introduced them to that lifestyle.

Enter the radical homosexual activists. In just a few decades, they were able to bully the American Psychiatric Association into taking homosexuality off of their list of sexual deviations. They went to Hollywood and started producing movies that were “gay friendly” and sympathetic. They gained ground in the print media, and greater ground in the higher institutions of learning in this country.

They repeated their mantras over and over again.

Homosexuals are born that way.
Homosexuality is normal.
Homosexuals are no different than heterosexuals.
Homosexuals are family oriented.
Homosexuals are monogamous.

So it appears that people overall today at the very least tolerate the lifestyle, and at the most, condone and even glorify it. Those of us who know the truth, that it is still a perverse, abnormal lifestyle, have a choice to make. We can remain politically correct and stay silent, or we can say we personally believe it's a perversion, but since maybe they’re born that way, maybe they should have the same rights as heterosexuals. Shame on us who know the truth and are afraid to speak out.

It is normal to be repulsed by something that is abnormal and strange. How many men who claim they are open minded and don’t have a problem with other guys who are gay would still feel that way if some guy just suddenly walked up to them and gave them a big sloppy kiss right on the mouth?

How many women who say they are sympathetic toward homosexuality would be extremely offended if a woman came up to them and caressed them in a provocative and sexual way?

Now the most disingenuous of all- Christians who claim the Bible doesn’t speak against homosexuality.

The Bible says very clearly that homosexuality is a sin. Don’t even attempt to post here and say otherwise because you won't be published. Every argument against the statement has been disproved. Even atheists will tell you the Bible does teach that homosexuality is sin and an abomination to God. The early church fathers acknowledged that it was sin. The great men of God throughout the last 2000 years have acknowledged that it was a sin. It has only been in the last 40 or 50 years that (coinciding with the radical homosexual agenda) Christians have begun to question their own teachings (i.e.” The Word of God’s teachings) on the subject. And thus, the liberal Christian – the church that has given in to political correctness and has become “inclusive” and “affirming” is the greatest purveyor of disingenuousness over this abomination to God.

I have actually read Christians to say that they “prayed about it” and God showed them that homosexuality is no different from heterosexuality, and that anyone who condemns the practice is a bigot and hateful. But they won’t be pinned down. When asked what it was in God’s Word that jumped out at them and helped them realize that we’ve all been wrong for 2000 years, they never gave a clear answer. Instead, they go back to the tired old claims that the Bible doesn’t really say what it says.

What goes hand in hand with homosexuality? It’s fornication. When I asked a liberal Christian recently about fornication, I never received a straight answer. I asked, if you don’t believe that the Bible condemns homosexuality, do you believe it condemns fornication?

Silence.

Silence speaks in this situation. Silence says that yes, I know in my heart that homosexuality is condemned in Scripture. I know that homosexuals are predominantly promiscuous and that they are fornicators, but I won’t admit it.

Stop being disingenuous. Just say it. "I know homosexuality and fornication are condemned in the Bible, but I don’t care what the Bible says."

My respect for you will be greater than it is now.

More on Homosexual Activism?

I have posted a lot lately on issues concerning homosexuality. On the one hand, one might say “Move on, Ms Green. There are other issues pertaining to your Christian worldview besides this one.”

I wish I could move on. There’s just one problem. Daily, I wake up to some new report of homosexuals gaining ground in their goal to force acceptance of, or better yet, affirmation of, their perversion. Things are escalating so that I fully expect to be visiting my pastor in jail within the next few years because he dared to read a passage from the Bible condemning the sin of homosexuality during a sermon. Don’t think it will get to that point, do you?

I read this yesterday: Homosexuality takes congress by Storm

I’m not sure I agree with the title of this article. There are presently some 435 congressmen in the house of representatives. 52 is a little less than 9% of the total, which is not by any means “storming” Congress. However, this formation of a caucus for promoting sexual perversion rights is disturbing, especially in light of the recent occurrences in our nearby neighbor Canada concerning the stifling of individuals’ (Christians’) rights to voice their opposition to the gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender lifestyles.

In researching the two Republicans who crossed party lines to join in the new caucus, I discovered that Ros-Lehtinen is a "solidly conservative Republican", although she sides with liberal Democrats on one social issue: gay rights.

As for Christopher Shays, the Washington Blade(a homosexual newspaper)says, “Shays emerges as reliable backer of gay rights”.

Where is the church in all this? A look at the “spirituality” section of the Washington Blade answers this question for us.

A great many churches are in apostasy. They have become false harlot churches with the code words “affirming” and “inclusive” embedded in their false doctrines.

Here are a few churches advertising in the Washington Blades’ “spirituality” section:

WASHINGTON PLAZA BAPTIST CHURCH, a Christ-centered, welcoming and affirming community church in Reston, Va.

CITY OF REFUGE D.C., an affirming congregation for all God's people, meets at Amistad St. Paul United Church Of Christ,

INNER LIGHT MINISTRIES, African-American, all-affirming, Christ-centered church.

NATIONAL CITY CHRISTIAN CHURCH (Disciples of Christ). Open and affirming.

CHURCH OF THE EPIPHANY, a diverse and inclusive

MCC FREDERICKSBURG. A Christian church that celebrates gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning and affirming communities.

FIRST & ST. STEPHEN'S United Church of Christ, an open and affirming congregation

Numerous denominations are listed. Baptist, Catholic, Church of Christ, Episcopalian, Presbyterian. There are Jewish and Buddist listings there, along with Divination groups and Unitarians.

Code words: affirming and inclusive.
Meaning: We don’t teach that homosexuality and fornication are sin. We cater to “itching ears”.

I can’t move on. No Christian should. God help us if we don’t start becoming more vocal. Or should I say, if we don’t start becoming more vocal, God won’t help us.

Abnormal is Normal and Vice Versa

Imagine 50 years ago if someone had said that someday the mental patients will be in charge and they’ll tell you YOU are the one that’s got the problem. THEY are normal and YOU are not.

No one would have believed it. It would have sounded like a horror movie – a sci-fi movie, or a nightmare.

Looking at things from a logical perspective, the truth is, 50 years ago homosexuality was looked upon as a mental disorder, a perversion, a sickness, and even something repulsive to the majority of society.

Now it seems the mental patients are in charge.

A woman with a mental disorder decides she wants to be a man, but keeps her reproductive organs. She takes male hormones, grows a beard, surgically removes her breasts and pretends to be a man. She “marries” another woman. This other woman, also obviously suffering from a mental disorder,( because she wants to marry a woman who thinks she’s a man and who looks like a man, but has kept her reproductive organs) can’t have children. They’re in luck! The woman who thinks she is a man and who looks like a man is still a woman with her reproductive organs intact, so she decides to get pregnant by artificial insemination. So she will be the mother of the child, but she thinks she will be the father of the child. The woman who is the “wife” in this case is not the mother but will think she’s the mother and thinks the baby will have a mother and a father, but instead the baby will have a mother who thinks she’s a man and another person living with them who thinks she’s the mother but she’s not – and there will be no father.

Now they’re saying a man is having a baby. But we all know that it’s really a woman with a mental disorder who has mutilated herself and taken male hormones but still wants to get pregnant.

No one would have believed it. Sounds like a horror movie – or sci-fi movie, or a nightmare.

I’m intolerant because I recognize that the emperor has no clothes.

Homosexuals and Abortion

I know some may be uncomfortable with this, but it did cross my mind today.

I wonder…

Homosexuals are some of the biggest supporters of abortion. They are all about “don’t tell me what to do with my own body”. I’ve seen it time and time again where homosexuals were outspoken and adamant proponents of a womans “right to choose”.

They also claim that being homosexual is something they are born as – not a choice they made at some point in their life.

Let’s suppose for a minute, that they convinced the world that they were indeed “born that way”. Let’s also suppose that the tide turned on them, and people got sick and tired of homosexual “in your face” activism and forced acceptance and recognition of their perversion as being “normal”.

How would they feel if people started aborting babies that the doctors said were predisposed to homosexuality…? After all, homosexuality comes with a lot of problems - disease/depression/high mortality rates being just a few. Would they think there was anything wrong with abortion then? Would it be a hate crime? Would they seek to have homosexual fetuses listed as a protected group?

Just wondering...

Radical Homosexual Activism Behind the Political Scene

Ever wonder why such a small percentage of the population has managed to get so much attention, support, and favoritism?

The Governor of Colorado, Bill Ritter, has just signed a bill that adds “transgendered” people to the state non-discrimination law. Businesses, even if owned and operated by Christians or others who believe homosexuality is unacceptable will be forced to hire transgendered people who apply for employment. Churches, mosques and synagogues are exempt (for now anyway).

Also read The Americans for Truth About Homosexuality take on Colorado Transgender Bathroom Bill

This bill basically just transformed all public restrooms and locker rooms in Colorado into gender neutral restrooms.

In addition, a provision was included that forbids a public referendum or petition drive to overturn the law.

So why in the world would Governor Ritter do something like this?

Ask him about Tim Gill.

Who is Tim Gill?

This question may seem trivial, but the article following is probably one of the most disturbing articles I have read in recent years. The 2006 Congressional Elections, other State and even Local Elections are being skewed by gay philanthropists – and it’s being done under the radar. Wonder how much gay money was thrown at McCain's campaign?

Obama and Clinton Interviews at Gay.com

You can read the full interviews linked below if you can stomach the ads surrounding the articles.

From Clinton’s interview:

You told the Philadelphia Gay News that you would “do everything to eliminate any disparities in any benefit or rights under our law at the federal level.” If you are unable to capture the nomination, will you return to the Senate and introduce legislation repealing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and the Defense of Marriage Act?

SENATOR CLINTON: I have long been on record supporting equality in benefits and eliminating discrimination against gays and lesbians. I support repealing the provision of the Defense of Marriage Act that may prohibit the federal government from providing benefits to people in states that recognize same sex marriage. I strongly support ensuring people in stable, long-term same sex relationships have full equality of benefits, rights, and responsibilities.
I support repealing the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy. Courage, honor, patriotism and sacrifice - the traits that define our men and women in uniform - have nothing to do with sexual orientation. I’m concerned that the military is discharging people with critical skills - including desperately needed Arabic language skills. Our close allies, Great Britain and Israel, have changed their policies to allow gays to serve in the military without dire consequences. This is a matter of national security and I will fix it.

At this time LGBT Americans do not have access to marriage or civil unions at the federal level. Basic familial rights - inheritance, hospital visitation, etc. - are out of the grasp of most gay couples, like those here in North Carolina. How will you address the basic human rights of these families?

SENATOR CLINTON: I believe gay and lesbian couples should have all the same rights, responsibilities, and benefits as all Americans. As President, I will work to ensure that all Americans in committed relationships have equal benefits - from health insurance and life insurance, property rights, and more - through civil unions.

From Obama’s interview:

Many LGBT activists will say that neither the Democrats nor the Republicans have our community’s best interest at heart. What do you say to such statements?

SENATOR OBAMA: I have had a clear and long-standing commitment to LGBT equality. I worked for many years as a member of the Illinois Senate to enact a fully inclusive anti-discrimination law, the Illinois Human Rights Act, which protects against discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity in the workplace, housing and places of public accommodation. We succeeded in enacting that law just as I was leaving for the U.S. Senate. I support the complete repeal of the federal Defense of Marriage Act and the complete equalization of rights and benefits for same-sex couples at the federal level. I will work to eradicate the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy and enact the Matthew Shepard hate crime law and a fully inclusive Employment Non-Discrimination Act.
The second thing I will say relates to the priorities of people who advocate for the LGBT community. I have always said that I don’t think that the LGBT community should take its cues from me or some political leader in terms of what they think is right for them. Real change comes from the bottom up, not the top down. As your President, I will fight to make LGBT equality a reality at the federal level. But it is the LGBT community that has to decide what is in their best interest, and to help make it happen by engaging actively with the political process.

Are there any out LGBT citizens in the running for possible presidential appointments should you win the nomination and general election?

SENATOR OBAMA: It is premature to talk about presidential appointments while we are still determining who will be the nominee, but I can certainly say that out LGBT citizens will be included in the appointments to my administration.

Al Sharpton teams up with Homosexual Activists

The list of liberal left wing organizations is rather lengthy.
Al Sharpton’s National Action Network
Arizona Transgender Alliance
Equality Arizona
Human Rights Campaign
National Gay and Lesbian Task Force
American Civic Liberties Union of Arizona
Planned Parenthood
National Organization of Women

All these groups are working together to push for an Employment Non-Discrimination Act in Scottsdale Arizona.

Everything I’ve read indicates that most blacks don’t like homosexuals comparing their fight for rights with the black’s fight for rights. So what’s the "Reverend" Sharpton doing in the middle of this one? After all, he's been recorded using the word "homo" in a derogatory manner on numerous occasions and has indicated he does not approve of the lifestyle. So which is it, Rev?

Al’s on the wrong side. (Actually, he’s on his own side, which happens to be aligned with whatever side suits his agenda at the moment.)
