Public Library Porn

Imagine taking a trip with your kids to the local library. Nice family outing. The next thing you know, your kid is sitting at a table in front of you looking at photographs of perverted homosexual acts and saying, “Mommy, what’s THIS!!!”

I don’t know about your local public library, but in Nampa Idaho, the ACLU has made sure that this very kind of thing COULD happen.

There are adult book stores in most towns. If someone wants to read or look at the pictures in The Joy of Sex or The Joy of Homosexual Sex, they don’t have to go far. The Internet is ready and waiting to satisfy every fetish, every craving, and every voyeur’s need. There are bookstores and heck, even most convenience stores carry trashy magazines if you’ll just look.

The public library is not the place to showcase this type of thing.

The key work here is “public”. If one can’t prance around naked in public, or commit lewd and obscene sexual acts in public, then this type of literature does not need to be in the “public” library.

I am not advocating censorship or book burning. I am advocating discretion. I'm advocating common sense in areas when kids are concerned.

Common sense. Something the ACLU knows nothing about.

Are you really serious? This is scary. I can't even stomach sex books displayed in public. It should be liquor or cigar - there should be an 'adult' section where only adults can enter, not the kids.

Our society already has enough overdosage of sex. It's disgusting to see almost 99% of people 'experimenting' even before marriage! Multiple partners, broken marriage, pre-marital sex....ohh...we might be wealthy society. But, morally, we are a third world country. Dissappointing.

You are right. Morally we are totally depraved. God says to whom much is given, much is required. We've forgotten our blessings as a country and have a prideful self-indulgent attitude about everything. Our moral compass doesn't seem to work anymore. How God must mourn over our depravation.

Don't you think this is the issue with european race. Smart, hardworking but morally bankrupt. It bothers me a lot. If it continues, our population might be wiped out one day (due to lower birth rates, 'experiments' and gay/lesbian marriages. Nobody wants marriage or regular marriage - Instead, adopt a baby from China!!!
Am I getting old or what? :)

European? How about European, African, Oriental, the whole human race! The world is getting worse - not better.

And it's because the world has rejected God and His laws, and his righteousness.
