To Whom do You Bow?

September 11, 2001.

That day will never be forgotten, at least by those who care about this country.

Of the many terrorists involved in the murder of Americans that day, 9 of them were from Saudi Arabia, a Muslim country that on the surface seems to be an ally of the USA. Sharia law influences the law of the land in Saudi Arabia, and though not as outwardly radical as an Iran, it has its share of Imams and other Muslim leaders who spew hatred toward the West and toward Israel and the USA in particular.

In Saudi Arabia, their law includes:
Wives and children considered property of the husband
The beating of drinkers and gamblers
The sanctioning of wife-beating
The jailing of individuals publically practicing religion other than Islam
The execution of homosexuals
Sex outside of marriage means flogging (more so for the woman than the man) and stoning to death for adultery (again, more so for the woman than the man)

All this is a preface to what I have to say next.

Barrack Hussein Obama is a disgrace to the United States of America. Protocol means nothing to him. After he and his wife’s flippant attitudes toward the Queen of England, for him to bow down to a Muslim King from Saudi Arabia was a disgusting and sickening act.

The country which produced 9 of the murdering terrorists that killed thousands of our own and he bows down to their king.

The country whose laws listed above promote oppression rather than freedom, and he bows down to their king.

The country whose religion teaches that Jews and Christians should be hunted down and killed, and he bows down to their king.

BHO does not represent me.
I bow to no one but Jesus.
He should do the same.

Islam is redeemed of all this behavior because of the common ground they share with most Liberals; that is their hatred of Christians.

Nice Blog, look fwd to seeing what you have to say next.

Ms.Green, As I type this I'm listening to music on Sirius of the 40's, 50's, and 60's. What great and wonderful memories these old songs bring me.
Who would have thought that looking forward to the future from those times that it would come to this. The greatest nation in the world bankrupt morally, socially, and fiscally. A nation's people now devoid of national Pride, honor, and integrity. A nation's people now willing to sell its soul for cheap promises. A nation's people now willing to trade freedom for slavery. A nation's people now willing to worship at the feet of insanity.
Every new waking day brings more egregious news that our nation has been robbed again of her once valiant and priceless heritage.
Again, I ask, who would have thought it would come to this. May God show us his mercy. II Chron. 7:14
God Bless, Herm

I agree with you on Saudi Arabia and the lack of freadom in their society. I have visited both Saudi Arabia and Iran in the past. Iranians enjoy far better life style (fredom) than Saudies. Saudy is honestly a very scary, strange place. However, life is normal (?) within americal expat colonies/neighborhoods.

I can understand your dissappointment/anger over Obama's behavior. Did you also equally get offended when George Bush invited the same Saudi Royals to his home and treated them like VIP guests? Does it bother you that Bush family has business ties with a country/family that sent 9 suicide bombers? Does it also bother you that we did NOTHING to a country that sent 9 attackers, instead we went after a country that sent NONE!!

I'm trying to understand if your anger is based on issue/policy/reality OR simpy a reflection of Obama-hatred.

Hi Dan. Thanks for taking the time to comment. I like both your blogs and will visit again.

V: First of all, I hate no one except Satan himself. In fact, I pray for Obama and his family on a continuous basis. I pray that God will protect him and his family, and I pray God will protect this country from his radical agenda.

Comparing Saudi Arabia and Iran, and then saying the Iranians enjoy more freedom is extremely provocative in my opinion, not denying that SA is a scary place as well - but Iran is a pit of evil compared to SA.

Comparing GWB's diplomacy with Obama's submission by bowing is not comparing apples to apples. As for "going after" Iraq, that is a whole other subject - one which can't be addressed in just a few words in the comment section. Suffice it to say that I agreed with the overwhelming majority of Congress and the President that Hussein had to fall and Iraq was dangerous to not only the region but to the world as long as Saddam was in power. We did the right thing going in there.

And if you want to talk about "business ties", let's talk about Obama and the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac fiasco...

Two quick questions -

1. Have you ever visited Saudi Arabia and Iran? Have you visited the malls of Jeddah in SA? Have you ever taken a walk on Tehran streets and seen how much freadom women have in Iran as compared to women in Saudi?

2. I take it that you support Bush family's business ties with Saudi Royal family and Saudi Arabia. I also take it that you have no issues with our (ex)President having such close business ties with a nation that *actually* sent 9 suicide bombers of 9/11.

Note - You can't get me defend Obama or any other politician. I'm fully aware of his past and connections. I have no bias and I try to be 'fair and balanced' and seek truth. Having a bias blinds my journey to find truth.

V,

I am not a seasoned world traveler such as yourself. However, I don't have to walk the streets of Tehran to know that women have been hanged in the public square for such heinous crimes as being gang-raped, and for the terrible crime of passing out leaflets at the local university. I'm not defending SA, I'm just not buying that Iran is a bastion of freedom compared to SA.

I don't support or not support legal business dealings that GWB relatives are involved in. I also know that SA did not officially "send" the 9 terrorists. I do know that Saddam paid money to the families of terrorists who killed Jews and Christians, and that he was allowing terrorist organizations sanctuary in his country. I also know that the evidence for WMDs was strong enough that the majority of congress - even the liberals - supported going in to neutralize them - and Saddam was not adhering to UN mandates that were a result of Desert Storm. I also know that he was a madman who gassed his own citizens, had people dragged out of their homes and tortured and murdered on a regular basis, and that he was a dangerous and unstable element in the middle east that needed to be taken out.

I'm not sure how we got sidetracked on Iraq, as my original post was about my disgust over Obama breaking protocol and bowing down to a Muslim king in submission. The leader of the most powerful nation on earth should bow to no one but Jesus.

1. Again, don't compare Iran to a free world. I was only comparing it to SA. And, I am ont buying your notion that Iran is far worse than SA. It once again shows our flawed policy of doing business with SA while blaming Iran for everything.

2. GWB's business deals with SA once again proves my previous point. Would you support GE doing business with Iran? It's a moral issue, not a 'legal' issue. If so, I'm sure there are companies who want to 'legally' do business with taliban/al queda!!

3. SA didn't officially send suicide bombers. But their policies, anti-western and anti-Christian culture produced those guys. Also, as you know, Saudi family funds/scholarships to suicide bombers against Israel.

4. Iraq - It's already proved beyond any doubt that America botched the whole thing.

5. Obama didn't have to bow down to Queen or King. I agree with you there!

V: I'm not sure why this turned into a Bush bashing, since I never mentioned him in my post. He's gone. He's history. No, he was not a great president - but would I have rather had Clinton or Gore? No way. Do I already think Obama is the poorest choice for president this country has even seen? You bet. He's pathetic. He's dangerous. He's anti-freedom and anti-Christian. He's most likely not even a legitimate president and he'll never be my president. He's corrupt, he's broken numerous campaign promises already, he's clumsy and he's a loose cannon. He bows to Muslim kings as a representative of my country, which has never submitted itself to any other country. He is a disgrace.

I think that just about covers it for now. :)

No - It was not about GWB or Obama.I was only trying to understand if you were equally outraged with GWB for his dealings with SA. Or, was it all coming out of Obama-hatred. Anyway, you are a good sport and thanks for allowing me post my comments here.
