Abortion - A Non-Issue

One thing I can say about this race. It has truly opened my eyes to the difference between someone who says they follow Christ and those who only pretend.

Jesus said "Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me". He has a special place in His heart for children. He said it would be better if a millstone were tied around your neck and you were thrown into the ocean than what would happen to you if you harm one of these little ones.

Right before the election, my son asked an aquaintance why she would vote for someone who supports not only abortion on demand, but radically supported three times to allow infanticide. This person who professes to be a Christian told him that abortion was a “non-issue”.

A non issue.

Millions upon millions of human babies have been murdered in this country. More babies are murdered each day than were Americans on 9-11.

Scissors inside tiny heads. Limbs torn from their sockets. Flesh burned by saline.

Cold. Callous. Unconcerned. It’s a non-issue.

Obama has said his first offical act as President will be to sign the Freedom of Choice Act. The bloodbath will increase once it is signed into law.

Surely God will judge this nation soon. Maybe Obama is our judgment.

All I know is, the one-world government, the one world economy, the one world religion spoken of in Scripture is visible on the horizon. The anti-Christ is walking the earth as we speak – I’m sure of it. He will be revealed soon. But I’ll already be out of here. I'll get to meet all those souls who were never allowed to be born.

Meanwhile, the screams of the innocent continue, laying guilt on us all for not stopping it.

A non-issue. Don't profess Christ and then call destroying His creation a non-issue.

One more step towards mandatory abortions. He will use the same excuse China does: Overpopulation.

Yesterday, I did a no-no. A colleague had written an e-mail to our faculty and staff which included a plug for a pet-sanctuary near here. Another colleague...and friend...answered his plug by stating that she had read that a civilization can be judged on how it treats "other" creatures in its environment.

I couldn't help myself. I replied to her (personally) by asking what our culture of abortion says about our civilization.

Oops! Non-issue! Muddying the waters of her complimentary statement and all that!

She says the issue was the animals...I say she made the issue into how a civilization is perceived through its actions.

I made a legitimate point, she cried foul!

Speaking of China, Mark. If you go to my blog (turn your volume down first), I've got a music track playing right now that is truly awesome considering it was written and performed by a brit-band in the early 80s.

"White China" by Ultravox

Ms Green, This same culture is willing to murder babies to create stem cells in hopes that it may extend their lives. This same culture now will promote giving a suicide pill to someone suffering with a debilitating disease. Both Washington and Oregon now offer this in place of extended treatment. MARK, you were so right! They will always cry foul if you point out their erroneous errors. God Bless, Herm

Correction to my comments: Al-Ozarka made the statement : She cried foul. Herm
