For you Die-Hard Environmentalists
Neil's got a great post over at his place about the motives behind the "Green" religion.
Check it out.
Commentaries from a female, conservative Christian worldview. Intermittent observations on human behavior and current events. Occasional bursts of personal tirades, confessions, and discoveries. Frequent discussions about my "Narrow-Minded Faith".

Ms. Green,
Thanks for dropping by my Blog again.
Your crusade against the religion of "Green" is well done. Thanks
I appreciate your ewloquent defense of the Faith.

And here I thought your website was named Ms. Green because you were such a staunch environmentalist :-).
Thanks for the link!
When religion steps in, logic dies !! After seeing this blog and the readers you have - I have no doubt about it. :)
I'm o glad that human race has realized the dangers of religion and kept it separate from politics. I'm very glad that people like you are minority. I'm very glad that our policy makers keep you where they belong (of course, once they get your votes) ;-)
I really wish there was a God. Because...all of you need some help. Really!!
American,
Unfortunately for you, you prove Scripture with your words. (imagine that!)
"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matthew 7:13-14
In other words, most of the world will not believe, and will therefore suffer eternal destruction.
And this one...
"Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen."
Men consider themselves as gods of intellect and wisdom, are self serving, self-indulging,and worship the creation that God made without acknowledging the Creator.
Yes, American, I would say you have proved Scripture with your own words without realizing it.
Thanks for stopping by my little "illogical" blog and visiting with me and my illogical, in-need-of-help friends.
If you REALLY wish there was a God, then seek Him. He will reveal Himself to you if you are seeking Him. He can help you. Really.
Ms. Green,
Excellent choice of Scripture.
And it is a shame when "American" chooses to reject the very Savior who died for him -- to give him eternal life if he would simply put his faith in the Savior, Jesus.
Pitiful -- I know -- because I was in the same situation as "American" until age 35, 43 years ago. I once was blind -- but now I see!
In Christ eternally,
ExP(Jack)
ExP,
I was an agnostic most of my life. So I have also been where American is now.
I don't really think there is such a thing as an atheist - everyone knows deep down that there is a God. Atheists just totally deny that because they don't WANT there to be One. Agnostics, like American, know deep down that God exists, but for various reasons try to remain neutral, hoping that if there is One, He'll have mercy on them and figure they're a pretty good person and let them go to heaven anyway.
I used to say "If there is a God, He made me like I am, and knows I try to do the best I can in life, so surely He'll let me go to heaven."
I suspect American feels much the same way, because he did express that he wishes there was a God. So there is hope that he will get saved.
American posted a comment following my last one, but I rejected it.
American:
Your arrogance and condescending, judgmental attitude is exactly what you accuse Christians of.
