Nothing slanted about THIS poll....NOT!
Ok guys. I need your help with this one.
The liberal Canadian paper, Canoe News, ran a poll today:
Six young Amish girls are shot in the head by a man with a 20-year grudge. You wish
___that guns were restricted.
___that schools had better security.
___that men could solve problems without violence.
___that Americans would accept their society has many unaddressed problems.
___that you were living on another planet.
A few really stupid choices, I’d say. I’d like to add a new list of choices for the same question….I’ve put down two, and invite readers to add their own to it…

put this guy out of his misery before he hurt anyone

That he had tried this with a room full of Truck Drivers instead of 6 year old Ahmish Girls.
That the Media would not run polls as stupid as this one.
That my wife was not a school teacher in Today's environment.

__That Jesus would hurry up and take care of all this unfinished business. but in the mean time, I like the idea of gun toting teachers. I like the idea of a gun toting public.
As an aside. I was told by a police officers once that if, while in the course of his normal patrol, he saw a man with a gun in a holster strapped to his waist, the officer's only recourse would be to pull over and ask to see the man's permit of ownership. As the weapon is not concealed, it's not illegal. He further conceded the person would probably be taken in for questioning, but that the man couldn't be charged with carrying an unconcealed weapon if he had the right to own it.
Obviously an Amish wouldn't have been packing heat, but still, had he tried that with a room full of adult men, rather than a room full of school age girls...
My addition to the poll:
--That Canadians would shut up, stop looking down their noses at us, and deal with their own problems, like that pesky French population!
I'm for a gun-toting public myself. What am I saying? I live in Louisiana. We ARE a gun-toting public. (grin)
I wish it had never happened. Who can you blame? What a horrible henious crime. We live in a society of sick people that need Christ. This country needs Christ. Come soon Lord Jesus.
