My Needs List for Obama
Dear Mr. Obama,
I need to retire early. Please send me my retirement income starting this summer. I'll need about $3000 more than my Social Security check will be. You can just send it all in one check.
I need a home in the mountains. Nothing elaborate - just a couple of thousand square feet, with a fireplace of course. Oh, and a few acres of land so I can have my privacy.
I'll need a new car that will handle driving in the mountains. Probably a 4x4 of some kind.
I'd also like a new satellite system so I can keep up with what's going on in the outside world. I just don't want to be a part of it directly. You understand.
Just in case we get attacked, I'll need a really good bomb shelter and supplies to last several years.
Other than that, I'm ok. I don't want to be greedy, you know. Just wanted to get my list of needs out there for you Mr. Obama, so you don't forget me.
Thanks so much. You give me hope. And I'm due for a change. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Ms. Green
P.S. Did I mention a boat? There are a lot of mountain lakes and streams where I'm going...

Awesome! I just stumbled on your blog, and I'm glad I did! It's fun to read someone's ideas/thoughts that are so close to mine.
Hi Jana,
It's fun to read someone's ideas/thoughts that are so close to mine.
So you get hate mail too?
:-) Thanks for dropping by.
Ms.Green, You know, I've been considering turning in my long and illustrious career as a card holding ultra social and fiscal conservative and becoming a clueless, whinny, and demanding liberal! Why not? Start holding MY hand out for all the free goodies. If all Conservatives did this, we would soon see the complete collapse of this socialist society as it is at present. Then we could start over and maybe do it right this time by recognizing the genius our Founding Fathers had when they wrote our Constitution. One could hope. God Bless, Herm
Dear Green,
Did you write a similar letter when Republican President approved first round of bail out/corporate welfare checks? Just curious.
